Both teams packing the center of midfield, very typical of modern football. Gonna be a battle.

Worried there’s no out ball with Bruno and Sancho out wide we will be pinned in our own half

Both sides packed midfield but they’re much more comfortable on the ball

Is Garnacho out?? Man Utd app does not show him on the bench!

Perfect. We are going to win it. It might take long and be in torturous period but we will get over the line with this lineup. The setup did fail in Anfield but it will work in Wembley today. Against City you just have to pack the midfield.
Even Scholes alluded to it in this article

Seeing these old clips of SAF on BBC makes me miss him so much...

BBC are basically calling us History FC. Showing all of these Sir Alex clips. He's been retired for 10 years!

It’s impossible to enjoy games like this. So much riding on this one with the extra spice of stopping the treble. I’ve saved my nails for a few days.

I think it's nailed on for a city victory, I just can't see how we can keep out the likes of Haaland, KDB, Silva and greilish. Even if we somehow manage to do it, they have Mahrez and Alcarez on the bench. We only have garnacho who can make a a difference but he'll be up against Kyle walker who is a beast of a RB and will easily nullify him. :(

Pep looks like he just rolled out of bed and dooesn't understand the questions

Fred to man mark KDB I think. He had the same role last match against City. Did pretty well except only one time he forgot KDB which KDB created the first goal. Hope he won't today.

Handy having ITV in reserve so I can avoid a 10 minute Haaland blow job on BBC

Just checked the lineups online and saw Man City have all players on board. Not a single player is injured.
Despite them playing the most matches and having one of the smaller squads.

At Bayern we always suffered from plenty of injuries under Guardiola. I wonder what he changed to get his squad that fit and healthy. Amazing.

I've been thinking this recently. They never seem to get significant injuries. Haalamd's missed about two games all season. De Bruyne got a pretty bad one a couple of seasons ago but generally they seem able to field the same players game in, game out. Always seem full of energy too, whereas our legs went around February.

Would have liked 3 pacey players across the front 3 to stretch them.

Kinda hard when we only have Rashford, Garnacho who just came back from injury and not ready for 90 minutes and Elanga who is barely a premier league player.

Our squad is super thin atm...

How did Micah Richards become a thing?

    He's an absolute clown.
Sadly, that's part of the reason. Everything's dumbed down nowadays, to appeal to a changing target audience. He ticks a few boxes for that - one being that he's an OTT clown.

Basically the starting 11 I expected. Didn't see who else what else we could do in the circumstances . It's the bench I'm worried about, not a lot of game changing options there and I'm not seeing Garnacho listed?
