Losing both Martial and Antony was a big blow.
I know they split opinion, but that's two less attacking threats for Pep to think about when setting out his team.Would have liked 3 pacey players across the front 3 to stretch them.Why did the cameras just pick up a united fan with mkhitaryan on the back of his shirt
We're getting good Fred today.This is the exact lineup I was hoping for.
EtH has clearly learnt that Eriksen in a two is suicide.
My only issue is the position of Sancho and Bruno. I've never seen Bruno perform well on the left and Sancho's recent form has come on the right so the attack might not click. I'd probably prefer Bruno on the left though because Sancho up against Walker will only end one way.
He might well be playing there for all we know.

I can see the sense in Rashford down the middle as Walker matches him for pace on the left. Was hoping for Antony on the right though, obviously wasn’t fit in time. I feel like Sancho has the ability to go missing in these games.

Really no other selections to be made - just look at the bench!
Without Antony, Martial and Sabitzer this was the starting XI we simply had to go with.Expected starting 11 for United. Bench a bit of concern but again to be expected with Martinez, Martial, Sabitzer and Antony all out injured.
