Starting Shaw a big risk. He looks well off the pace after his long injury lay off but the other options was liability in Young and a teen in Williams who seems to be getting punished for that error that led to the Villa goal.
Good to see Martial back in starting line up so soon, fingers and toes crossed he can remain injury free now.

They don't have a defence. We will have our chances (so will they). Most clinical team will win the match.The game is usually won in midfield and looking at City's starting options I'm quite concerned.
Starting shaw is a huge risk and looks a poor decision.

Whoever plays doesn't matter, what matters is that they counter press collectively with intensity and we will see some goals for us. Martial can hold the play when needed, or play fast, he will be key, like Fred and Scott. If those 3 have a good game, Rashford will benefit and score, and James will deliver.All the pressure is on city for this game. Any dropped points and they'll be 13 points behind pool.

One great win doesn't negate concerns based on a 12 month sample size.
It shouldn't be at all. I've been very critical but this is away against (arguably) the second best team in England and one of the top teams in Europe. He shouldn't be judged on this one.
A win however would be a strong plus for him.I think the OleOut brigade,hi guys, would regard matches against City and Liverpool as games where the expectations are toned down by quite abit.

Had a feeling he would start but played it safe and went unchanged.Come on boys we can do this...anything like Wednesdays efforts and we have a big chance. Martial needs to get stuck in instead of sulking. If I was Ole I would confiscate his gloves and ask hime to tun around to keep warm!!

Depends on how badly they beat us really.
City are clearly a much better team so, all things being equal, they should beat us. Not a particularly damning turn of events if that's what happens.
If we were to lose by a heavy scoreline or while looking utterly inept then that's slightly different though.- Status
