It's amazing that people can't see a role for Wan Bissaka "in the modern game". Sterling's been one of the most creative players in big games over the last 2 years and he's been given no chance here. Already an exceptional player in his limited role despite lacking so much experience and maturity.

I enjoyed that.

OGS got the tactics spot on and the players have maintained their discipline and composure.

45 minutes left and put a bit of fear into the rest of the league as we kick into the stretch.

Our games are eerily similar. First 30 mins looking good creating and not taking all our chances. Then get deeper and our opponents take over. Hopefully we can start the second half well, nick an early goal.

What a half! It went so fast! End to end for the majority for it. Unfortunately City seriously upped the pressure at the end, but that's why getting the second goal was so important. Fantastic to see Rashford to keep up his scoring run, and the penalty was clear. Great work for the second goal too and of course we could have had even more.

Hopefully we take the game to City a bit in more at the start of the second half as we can't expect to survive thr type of pressure we saw at the end of the second half with a clean sheet.

He didn't put his hand to the ball, he put it to the ground to break his fall. If you slide in you always put and arm down to the ground

Unprofessional and embarrassing from Micah Richards to be honest. All professional refs would tell you that it isn’t a penalty because you’re allowed to use the arm to break the fall and give you support.

That's exactly why he was bought. To shut down the players like Sterling, and it gives us a chance to move the ball up to James.

Great first half an hour, unreal in fact. We ripped them open again and again and could easily be 3 up. Our front 4 were excellent.
Had to tough it out for the last 15 though.
If we keep our nerve there are more goals there. City definitely not the force they were.
Next goal vital and I believe there will be another goal in my opinion.

Sterling got past him a few times though. That actually suprised me since usually nothing goes past him.

But yes... i really dont understand the people who dont rate AWB. Totally overreacting about his so called "shit at going forward". He isnt Dani Alves but he isnt terrible.
