I hope Pogba doesn't half-ass it today and that Ander doesn't pick up a yellow inside 5minutes. Kind of expected that team.

Cool, Neville has his opinion on pogbas hair and everyone uses their own opinion to whinge about Neville on his opinion on pogbas hair. Opinception.

How about we actually talk about the macth in here? Team news should be due out very soon

Gary Neville not happy with Pogba's attitude and his blue hair, saying he knows he loves football, but doesn't take it seriously enough or works hard enough.

Neville tears into Pogba ahead of kick-off
Paul Pogba’s decision to sport a blue hairstyle for today’s game has not gone down well with the former United defender...

“The problem with Pogba is he doesn’t help himself.

“I always think if you’re wise you don’t attract attention when things aren’t going your way.

    “Pogba doesn’t work like that.

“He’s got a big job to do, he’s got to be serious about football.

“Coming out here with blue hair today, win and it’s fine, lose and it will be talked about forever more by City and United fans.

    “It’s ridiculous.”
You made that up? Please say you did. Why Gary, why? How can one be that stupid? Paul had that hair last game as well. Jeez. Shut up Gary, you plonker.

Which is a little depressing to think about. We're 2nd. We have a very good squad. If we are resigned to hoping for not a hammering... it doesnt reflect well on the manager. So he has to show he can do something here. It might seem like an inconsequential game, but it should be important for Mourinho.

    True.

That said, a large part is simply how dominate City have been this season, irrespective of how United are playing.

Okay with that side. Midfield and defense is the best we can do, front 3 I think we always lack something if one of rashford or martial arent there but those 3 work well too on occasion. Might need the width from rash or martial at half though.

Strange one with Herrera, thought he was out of the picture.

Will be perfect if we disturb their preparation for celebration today.

Spurs will be 1 point behind us by kick-off.

We have no choice. A win might be too much to ask at the Etihad. A draw is a bare minimum, but we live to fight another day.

Line-up looks good. Hope Herrera is sharp and not the drunk we saw at the start of the season.

    No striker for City?
Cant wait for meaningless ball retention disguised as "Control"

Why the feck does it matter if Pogba has blue hair? All that matters is his performance on the pitch. Neville can be stupid sometimes.

Think if he had dyed his hair red, nobody would say anything. The fact it is blue when we are playing a derby match against a team who play in blue shows a lack of awareness.

I think he knows quite well what he is doing.

Neville is quite right/ There is too much of a circus around Pogba - not enough end product.

Fellaini out even though he's not injured. Pretty sure he has refused to sign a contractand Mourinho put him out of his selections then.

Good line-up. Need a dominant performance from Pogba & it should help him to have 2 CMs with him.

Hope we make it competitive & don't just put 10 men behind the ball; isolating Lukaku for 90 mins. I'd rather us lose trying to go for the win rather than just turn up hoping not to get beaten.

Every time he gets his hair done red he is crap. If he plays a blinder today I suggest he keeps it blue.

    Neville's got a point.

The hair will be pointed at by fans of both sides if Pogba is shit.

A bit like in the nineties when crappy players would wear gold coloured boots. Doing so has no upside unless you're certain you're going to perform. Pogba's not quite there yet.

I'll be honest, I've never felt less confident of winning a derby. You can bet your life City will look a different team from the shambles of Anfield and will be out for the kill. I'm worried we will end up chasing shadows and be made to look like clowns. There's no intensity in our game to suggest we can match the pressing work rate of City, and this is my biggest concern: it will be their pass and move against our statues.

Let's see what happens, and, hopefully, the team can prove me wrong and play with some passion tonight. I want to see desire worthy of a derby game, so that, if we lose, it isn't for want of trying. I fear a 3-0 defeat or worse; we need a fast start to set a tempo which can be carried through the game.

He came off the bench against Swansea. For me that was a decent indicator that Jose had him in his mind for this game.
Fair play. Never play the line up game, but would have never put Herrera in today.

If Moyes, LVG or Mou picked that City team in a derby away from home, they would be fecking eviscerated.
