With Liverpool's loss v Crystal Palace, anything that's not a loss against Manchester City will put us in a great position for Champions League places considering United have a game in hand.

Sit back, soak it up & hit them on the break. Mou will go classically conservative (he usually does even when we're full strength) and try & stifle the game.

    Worried/Psyched for this one!

    0-1 (Mhki)

Whos is this Shagger chap? 10,000 followers?

Are the players warming up this early, has he merely just looked at who is in the "starting" training, and who has the subs jackets on?

No Lingard is a surprise. The sort of non glamorous player that you'd have thought was a shoe in! But let's hope the pacy 3 attackers have enough to cause problems!

Don't have the energy right now but I will definitely make a cinnamon bread if we win.

According to my source which doesn't actually exist they predict that 4 random players are starting tonight so if they don't I'll blame the imaginary person for the sake of getting attention for about five minutes on twitter.

Could someone please type the team sheet? I'm in China and everything is blocked here. Can't see the tweet. And no time to go after VPN.

Alright looks like we are going for it.
0-2 to United with Mkhitaryan and Rashford scoring.

Lingard wont start this i think.
I hope and pray that we win this.

Don't care how reds. Just win.

Pleased with that. Honestly thought Rooney would play so that's a pleasant surprise.

    Miki needs a performance!

Let's do this. Have a feeling all day that this is going to be a cracker. I think we will win this.

Very bold line-up, wasn't expecting Martial and Mkhi to start, thought Young and Lingard would definitely be in. Gotr Shaw wrong, guess Jose had to compensate somewhere, Real shame Pogba is injured as it looks like Fellaini wouldn't have been playing.

Curious to see if it's Martial or Rashford on the left.

Any good red pub recommendations to watch the game in Didsbury?

    De Gea,
    Valencia Blind Bailly Darmian
    Carrick Herrera Fellaini
    Mkhitaryan Martial Rashford
Conservative line up, it'll no doubt be a soak up and counter style. Front three will probably rotate but Rashford will do the majority of the donkey work on the left.

Martial needs to make a big game here. It's his chance and it shows how Jose actually trusts him, could have started with Lingard instead but chose Martial after his performance in Burnely game. Now for Martial to step up and lead the team to victory.

Thought Jose would have went with Lingard for the running, looks like we're properly going for it  Carrick Herrera and Felliani to recreate the 4-2 when we destroyed city

Thought one of Young or Lingard would have been in the front three, but fair play to Mourinho. He's gone with the more attack minded players. Hopefully the will expose City's back line.
