What? That did not happen last season. Most people laid the blame at Moyes' door. He was always totally out of depth, but it has to be said, some of our players are really average. And SAF's most brilliant league win was probably his last. That's not to say Van Gaal is beyond reproach. But, again, I'd say our new recruits are the bright spot in the season - so he knows what improves us. Hopefully he can shift more players and replace them with actual quality.

I don't think Jones is good enough for us to be quite honest. Not without a defender like Rio beside him at least, he's far too brainless and relies on the last ditch tackle too much. It's pleasing to see because it gets us out of dangerous situations but the fact of the matter is those situations can be stuffed out by a clever defender before they have even developed, which is a far better way of dealing with it. Easier on the body too.
