    Each time we play fast direct attacks we cause them troubles and they are forced to make stupid fouls, why aren't we relying properly on counter attacks and get them on the break is beyond me. The 3 stooges on our bench have the combined IQ of a dead shrimp.
    I hope to see Lingard & Herrera in 2nd half for Mata(Depay) and Fellaini.
     
    What an inspiring first half. So many players that do not contribute anything to our play, and on top of that they can't even position themselves correctly. Memphis with that "look at me, I'm trying to be relevant" face again. Route one football to Afroman's head, who just heads it to either Sakho or Lovren. There's no point in our play.

    Yeah and Rashford as a right wing back is just genius.
     
    Just as shit as expected. Can't string two passes together and they're killing us with their drive and aggression.

    Would be brilliant if we can get a 1-1 draw here, but can't see it. We're absolutely worthless away from home. They should have been at least 2-0 up, if not more.

    I had heard about Emre before but never really watched him - he has great awareness of the pitch, rarely makes the wrong decision and effortlessly shifts from defense into meaningful attack. Not a bad dribbler either but clearly smart player

    Arsenal were virtually knocked out of the CL a few days earlier...they were there for the taking.
     
    We cannot keep the ball, we cannot string 2 passes together, no coherence in attack, sitting back and yet leaving holes all over the midfield. If not for DDG, we would have been out it a two-legged tie inside the first 30 mins of the first half.

    What exactly is it that LVG has laid the foundations for? It is hilariously bad and it is not even surprising. Why can't he just feck off already?

    Herrera for Mata please, need more in the midfield. Can't believe we've let that Liverpool side dominate us like that. Fellaini was the only one doing anything and I hate him. At least test Mingolet... pathetic all round
     
    I thought we started off well enough actually, then completely lost the plot after Sturridge scored.
     
    Once again an awful performance. I am not sure what is even LVG's plan if there is one. Liverpool creating opportunities with ease, United can hardly keep the ball, no rel threat whatsoever. I mean we even have a Fellaini in a box sometimes, just cross it to him, but no, our players can't even do that. I mean that's basics.

    I think we need Giggs to take over asap. Realistically what he can do worse? Surely not much if anything.

    Yeah, the wingers effectively playing as full backs is awful. Memphis is shit at it, and it's unfair on Rashford who's still very inexperienced. And it's not like it's effective anyway.
     
    They are not even playing that well & we're being schooled.

    Pen was a bit soft (+ dive) but probably was one, just about.
     
    Martial and Rashford need to be switched. Fellaini needs to come off for a real midfielder that can coordinate his legs in a running fashion and pass the ball forwards.

    How in the world are we supposed to be able to keep the ball when we have Fellaini in midfield? I'm not even sure this big lump of shite can qualify as a footballer.

    Leaving Herrera, our most energetic midfielder on the bench in a game like this is a reason enough to boot this Dutch idiot away from our club. What a fecking joke.
    Get this balloon headed pensioner to his vacation home in Portugal. I can't take this much longer.
     
    An embarrassing disgraceful first half performance, no attempt to play football just hoof everything to fellaini. Our only natural striker playing right back.

    Rashford and Fellaini off. Carrick and Herrera on. Mata right. 4-3-3.
     
    Midfield non existent. Schneiderlin has always been a waste of space at united. No tackling, no creativity, nothing.
    Fellaini is not a defensive midfielder. Van Gaal has to come up with some kind of fix if he wants us to stay in the competition.
