Seems like an utterly pointless 2 games for both teams after watching Dortmund earlier. It wouldn't even be close for whoever plays them

At half time, LVG should go down on both knees and thank DDG for keeping us in this tie.

After our last LFC game (which we won 3-1), I went to the RAWK forum and read some comments.
Basically the LFC fans' consensus was that we are a crap team, with 1 star player (DDG) who won us the game. They also said that once DDG leaves, which they are confidence he will, we are "done".
It's difficult to disagree with their comments.

I'd take this right now, shame it's only going to get worse before 90 minutes are up :(

Honestly what do we do in training? Without Dave the tie would be over already. Big disconnect between midfield and our forwards. C'mon Louis sort this shit out

The penalty looked iffy to me and this ref is a fecking tool with his yellow cards, but we have been awful yet again, created nothing, no link up between our forward players, no movement, just rigid, static crap.

I think Martial is related to Jon Bones Jones with the expressionless face.

Watching United is like being in an abusive relationship these days. Ol Van Gaal teased us with a win over Arsenal to give us hope before crushing our spirits again. Yet here I am, every day, in hope.

LVG just sits there thinking the players will know what they are doing.Who need a manager.

We need a grafter in the final third to complement Martial, Memphis and Rashford.

Sadly, Hugs is not that player. I would've killed for an Mkhitariyan like in the previous game, he really allows the others to play.

Martial and Rashford totally isolated. Felaini just plain useless (shocker!) Wrong tactics, wrong personnel, wrong wrong wrong.

I hate being so negative, but, really, was there anything to be positive about during that half?

I'm surprised how toothless we are being. You are usually up for this type of game no matter what, but we just don't seem to give a feck.

Carrick and Schweinsteiger/Herrera for Schneiderlin and Fellaini at half time or I want him sacked by the time he reaches Manchester.

In the first 10 seconds, Memphis went past his man with ease and Rashford should have done better. Someone explain why they haven't tried to do that again. Clearly LVG got a message out to the players that they came to close to scoring without passing backwards 104 times and that isn't allowed

I'd look impressive against Utd's midfield today.

It's one extreme or the other eh? Shite or world beaters

I had heard about Emre before but never really watched him - he has great awareness of the pitch, rarely makes the wrong decision and effortlessly shifts from defense into meaningful attack. Not a bad dribbler either but clearly smart player

Why did they hire Trevor Francis? His voice is intolerable

Fellaini hasn't been too bad but he's not adding much to the counter attacking plan. Carrick and Schneiderlin tends to be awful together though, so not sure we'd be any better

At this point, a 1-0 loss would be bearable but an away goal would be a miracle

    Absolutely stupid set-up.

We're massively deep, and this weird full-backs man-marking thing has meant our wingers are essentially playing as wingbacks (or fullbacks in Rashfords case)... which means there's absolutely zero counter-attacking threat and Martial is our only outball, and he's being marked by two men (as Mata keeps getting sucked deeper and deeper into our own half as we constantly go deeper) and can do feck all because our players are 30 yards away from him.
