This was a game to far for the guys. Its been tough game after tough game with same players . Started back in Camp nou then league cup. I also think the Gooners last min goal flattened them metaly . Brush it off and go again on Thursday. Like the good old days scum beating us but were way ahead on points still 7 .

I agree. We were even the better side in the first half. Could have been 2 or 3 up at that point, but didn't happen.

Think it is one of those games where every chance they have they score. On top of that, it seems like the ball ends up with them no matter what.

We used to beat them a lot at Anfield, true, but even when we were actually good the games themselves were miserable. 1-0 smash and grabs with us being penned back in our half for the majority of the game - 2007, 2008, 2016 were all wins like that.

We never come here and play well and win comfortably. Even Juanfield ended 2-1 with us sitting back against ten men. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that Liverpool have a lot more easy wins in this fixture than us. And that's true even at Old Trafford.

Terrible stuff. It was always going to be a tough one as it's Liverpool, in a slump, but with a big game to focus on. We've ridden our luck the last few games, due to tiredness, and played well when it mattered. But we just never got anything going here at all.

It'll not end our run, nor will it kickstart Liverpool's, of both of those things I'm sure.

We have some work to do on our mentality, but Rome wasn’t built in a day and all that. It’s clear to see the timing of their goals fecked us today, and we got stroppy. Right before HT, right after HT and we gave up. That’s unforgivable, but it is fixable.
