1 goal at Anfield in the last 7 games. We have created a couple of good chances with Rashford's chance and Bruno's header (did everything right to be honest, unlucky). Could do with Casemiro trying to take control of that Midfield a bit more and more quality from the wide areas.

This always happens when you don't take your chances in big games. The one time Antony doesn't get back, Dalot over commits and we concede. We can still come back from this but the lads need to get their heads straight. We're either taking too much time or rushing things in the final third. This isn't over yet, but we can't concede again.

Lots of positives but one big negative at the end

Weghorst needs to come off and then we just stick Garnacho on TAA and give him a torrid time.

Work rate is one think but Weghorst is basically 50/50 with whether he can actually control a ball...he's got an awful first touch - makes Lukaku look like twinkle toes.

Dalot off too - he's not good at anything and just gets poorly exposed any time any attack comes down that side

Piss poor for their goal. Midfield gave Robertson the freedom of the entire left-hand side of the pitch to do what he pleased, Varane was asleep, and I don't even know wtf is up with Dalot. Seems like we have a. mental block when it comes to these lot.

Just this half, not generally, yes. Weghorst and Antony just aren't good enough. Both work hard and have the right mentality, just not the quality. Antony can't get a ball into the final third to save his life.

Antony has that one move which he rinses and repeats: get the ball out wide, come inside on the left foot and try to curl in a shot/cross. The lack of a right foot seriously hinders his game.

Not sure there's much point with Weghorst in this game now. Don't think it's working, and I think we're better off bringing Garnacho on so that we have more pace on the wings/out wide, and just having another player to run at Liverpool.

We won't get loads of chances so will have to be utterly ruthless.

That Rashy chance was a shame. Clean through, and can only dribble it onto the keeper.

Bruno and Rashford not in the game much, Antony wasteful and Weghorst isn't a number 10, despite being our brightest players in our front four.

We either make some changes or put everyone in their favourite positions.

There's goals in it for us. We just need to make the right decisions in the final third.
