    Honest question guys...

    Do elite managers get mauled like this within same season?

    Brenford 4
    City 6
    Liverpool 7
    Villa 3
    Arsenal 3

    Those are 23 goals in 5 games, all away from home.


    Then can a United team ever beat Pep or Klopp team 6 or 7 goals? Meaning beating your fierce rival with over 5 goals?

    I personally don’t think Maguire is perfect either but Bruno… I want a captain to be calm and steady, not panicking and whiny about every call the ref makes.

    It’s the moaning, diving and feigning injury that annoys me so much, as well as his appauling body language when Utd are losing.

    Ten Hag can't be sacked, as even we have no replacement/nobody is out there, but genuine question do Pep,Klopp,Zidane get spanked those much goals by their rivals in one season?

    We will see what we are made of on Thursday. Have to say at least 11 players should be very happy Roy Keane isn't the manager... there would be carnage!

    Yes I just talked to my brother about this.
    There are so many things moving in a great direction for United at the moment. But the part you describe… it’s getting worse and worse. It’s not just Bruno, there are other as well. I just hate that part.

    Of course not. Who said anything like that? Bad day of course. Let the dust settle. But its not too much to say that this was extremely disappointing. Mainly in that lessons from the City smashing earlier in the season (i.e. if you psychologically fear the opposition and think you will get beat - you will get hammered in the Premier League) have not been learned. We have some psychological frailty - some trauma or scabs which haven't fully healed. Normally when a team gets beat 7-0 (think of that Arsenal team that got beat 8-2 at Old Trafford, or the Ipswich team that got beat 9-0 by us that time) the team needs taking apart and the guys shipping off to other teams to minimize the impact of that collective trauma. Obviously we can't do that; we're third in the league and have some talented players. We're obviously not going to ship out Casemiro, Bruno, Rashford etc after one heavy defeat. But we have to go to Anfield again next year, and the City of Manchester stadium. Can we send these boys out there without them thinking at the back of their minds "I hope I dont make a mistake today"? You can't play at that level with that mentality. I dont know how they fix this.

    Klopp just lost 5-2 at home after being 2 up! Not so long ago he lost 7-2 to fcuking Villa! Pep has blown a couple of Champs league titles.

    All those were against other teams not against United. Mind you there are 2 year apart those 7-2 & 5-2 losses.

    Being beaten is okay but 13 goals against City and Liverpool in one season is even bad than Ole reign.

    Or rather ask yourself, why is it only United of the three City, Liverpool,United that gets battered every other season in this derbies.

    Why can't United thrash Liverpool 7-0 in Old Trafford? But United can be beaten 7-0 in Anfield?

    Why we get spanked 6 goals in Etihad, then need a controversial equalizer from Bruno then win 2-1.

    Remember Arsenal had the most touches in opposition box ever during our game in January in Emirates. That's how much we were under the pressure.


    Away from home we have alot to do and learn, and that lies squarely on the coach doorstep.

    We have beaten everybody in the top 7 this season.

    How so, we have leaked more goals than.. (35 goals)

    1. Westham - 33 - Westham were Moyes is hanging on his job.
    2. Crystal Palace - 32
    3. Brenford -30
    4. Fulham - 31
    5. Brighton - 29
    6. Liverpool - 28
    7. Chelsea - 25


    If this is not a concern then standards have gone down.

    This all with Casemiro, Varane, Martinez.

    We might bury our heads in the sand but something is not right about how we leak goals.


    Incredibly we have leaked more goals at this point than what we leaked last season at game 25.

    At game 25 last season we had 43 points.
    Now we have 49 points.

    Only 6 points difference..



    Make of it what you want but Ten Hag needs to achieve more after all the investment because if this is his best return, with the best feeling around the club, then when we hit a brick wall things can unravel very quickly.

    Plus it's his team which leaked 17 goals, can't shift the blame when it's bad things but take credit when you win.

    No but managers at the start of rebuilds can. Surely the consistency around 3 brain farts is the data to go on in terms of progression than Liverpool scoring 7 with an XG of just over 2?

    Be honest, if we get a Fa cup draw away to Etihad, are you confident we can get a result there?

    Or Europa second leg in Emirates with a 2-1 lead can we avoid a spanking?

    Mate, it's not as rosy as it seems.

    He needs to drop Bruno, revert back to 433 or else the thumping will continue against better sides.

    Even against City in Old Trafford, he played Case,Fred, Eriksen we had the ball comfortably, never overrun even for a part.

    I know it's a wild claim to make, the same he binned Maguire sadly he has to bin Bruno for the team to start having control. We know Bruno with big games at United.

    It's sad and seems hyperbole but it will come true.


    I think that's the biggest change he should make after this debacle.

    49 or even 43 in 25 games is top 4 contender material. Last season problem was the final third.

    We got 15 points from the last 13 games. Barely over a point a game.

    If that happens again then make you can make questions.

    Issue is Ten Hag has to change something. Something is not right and it's something from last season as the spanking is the same.

    Elite manager Klopp as reigning PL champion conceded 14 goals in 3 games in 2020/21 (Villa, City, Leicester).

    In 2017/18 he lost 5-0 to City and 4-1 to Spurs within 1 month.

    While today’s result is terrible, it doesn’t suddenly make ETH a worse manager than he was before the game.

    That's what I'm saying with the 43 points period Ole was sacked & Ralf Appointed.

    Meaning we got 43 points with Ole + Interim Manager at matchday 25.

    Now we have Ten Hag all the summer signing, Pre season at 49 points..

    Something is not right.

    Results wise it looks almost similar.

    Still no reason to get spanked like that just because a player is sent off. But SAF and Klopp did. Doesn’t make them worse managers because of some selective games.
    Same with ETH.
    Moyes wouldn’t get spanked like that and we all know why. So does this make him a good manager?
    ETH has a lot to prove, but no need for complete overreaction.

    If we continue to play 4231 Brighton will hit us 3 goals.

    Understand my concerns is Ten Hag is still playing the same football we saw in the past albeit with few better players now.

    That's why few hammerings along the way, a carabao cup, some records broken rinse and repeat will be our portion.

    Same way he binned Maguire he should bin all the players who can pass or hold the ball well.

    If not, I'm telling you, it's will be epic fall.

    We all cried for Maguire to be dropped, it had instant improvements. We need to drop 4231 to have improvements against better teams and have better control in games.

    He has to do it. If not we will sing this same songs next season.
