    Tyler creaming. Prick.

It's crazy, even Carragher sounds disappointed about how awful we are (not much fun beating a rival when they're as pathetic as we are), but Tyler seems ecstatic still, sounded like he was gloating to Neville about how bad a state the club are in.

    Easy Liverpool win as predicted..
1st half our players were a embarrassing, walking about, jogging at best. Liverpool were very good and we just stood and watched.

At least 2nd half we had a go for 20 minutes until the 3rd goal killed it dead…

we deserve nothing this season certainly not top 4 and that’s what we will get.

Get Hannibal straight into the starting 11. The kid has balls and clearly gives a shit.

This. I know they will be raw but I'd far rather see the kids trying their best, and caring and wanting to earn a place than these overpaid wastes of space who don't care

Is this some stupid joke? He played a wayward pass in his own third and left Hannibal with an equal likelihood of losing the ball, albeit far closer to goal.

The absolute fecking bafoon then decided to mark neither Mane nor Salah thereafter and let it clean through.

Stop driving a Lindelof narrative. Maguire is and always has been an absolute shit show.
Failing to acknowledge the fact that Lindelof's pass was far riskier shows who is driving the narrative here.

Both are dreadful and should be sold imo.

At least Ten Hag can not disappoint. Expectations are so low for the team now. He can almost only do better than Rangnick, who has been the worst manager ever after Fergie.

Good. He isnt the answer. Zero experience in any of the major world leagues. And he needs to have that to deal with a club the size of United in such turmoil. Conte would have shaken this up. Id have Mourinho back at a shot before another sitting duck

How much experience did Guardiola have of a big league before taking over Barca? Mourinho was managing Porto before he took the Chelsea job. Xavi has turned Barca around pretty quick after managing in Qatar.

Mourinho is finished. Ten Hag has shown he’s ready for a chance at a big job.

The only thing worth acknowledgement is the stupidity that Maguires pass was safer than Lindelofs for the goals.

I agree. But who is the answer?

Two goals were because inexperienced players loosed the ball in the play up from defence (Elanga and Mejbri). The defence didn’t play them good, but it also illustrates it’s a difference between men and juniors.

Liverpool took the foot of the pedal after 25m and still cruised in to 4-0. We have a long way to go:(

It’s also frustrating to see whatever change we do (formation, players), anything helps.

Well done to the young lad hannibal, he showed more balls and commitment than the rest of that shower of shite all season. Makes me sick watching them piss stained scouse cnuts making fools out of us. feck them wankers.

We're hopeless and feel nothing with but utter comtept. This is the worse in my lifetime I've ever seen us.
This should hurt. But it doesnt. The battering under Ole DID. This performance was predictable and the battering inevitable.
Anyone who thinks Ten Hag who has less experience in top world league management than Rangnick could turn this around is living in cloud cuckoo land.
The issues are systemic. We need leaders with backbone, nous, knowledge and experience. Not more jumped up work experiences.

I posted in another thread earlier the reset we need is class of 92e esque. The first thing ETH, or whoever the new manager turns out to be, needs to sit down with the academy boss and work out which players are first team ready. The likes of Laird, Hannibal, Garner, Mengi need to be the present of the club. Build around these kids who want it, rather than those overpaid egotistical jokers.

Balls. People said this after Rangnick took over from Ole. Rangnick has more top level management experience than Ten Hag.

It was played into space, Hannibal should have done better.
But again, because it's Maguire it's amplified by the baying mob on here who are frothing at the mouth looking for any little less than perfection pass or a few inches out of position that he may produce.

It was bouncing at shoulder height and you don’t play balls into space going back to your own goal. We’re not talking inches, we’re talking 10 fecking yards.

I’m not a “Maguire hater” either. Look back and you’ll probably see barely any posts about him from me.

And judging Rangnick coming in mid season to a crisis is also living in cloud cuckoo land.

It’s not been good obviously but any manager with a pre-season and likely the most significant player turnover since 2014 should be able to at least instill an identity and approach to the game.

Experience is over rated. We’ve had experienced coaches and they often just seem out of date. You actually want a coach who is pushing boundaries and trying new things. A coach with a desire to elevate the team to new heights.

Respect to Hannibal, showing ten senior players how to fight.. I think we’ve finally reached the bottom, a team with no spirit, no hunger, or pride.. walk around like a collection of strangers watching every game pass them by, then looking confused that they didn’t win

Well, I’m out from behind the sofa now - only turned the sound on for minute 7. Have to say that was class from their fans, as was their football. Fair play to them. We are so far off it’s embarrassing.

Salah utterly taking the piss out of us in his post-match interview. Legitimately do the players not feel embarrassed when other players and managers are straight up laughing at them on tv?

Was right about this shower. But the court of public opinion backed Pogba. Who looks stupid? Not Mourinho.
Mourinho looks stupid regardless of Pogba. Mou is a shame for football and the fact he was manager for United is embarrassing to think about.

It was pretty tragic at the end of his rein. He was finished here. I'd rather give the guy a shot than go back to what was not working.

Yeah it's pathetic state we're in. But I tell ya what I much more positive with Ten Hag coming in than the shite that has been served up by Rangnick. Jesus all them qualities you've mentioned...are the not what Rangnick was meant to bring?

    Was about to post that.

Amazing that people want AWB gone when he's capable of pocketing any top wide forward in the world.

Almost managed to bail out Hannibal and Maguire there.
I’ve been critical of AWB but he came out as one of the few decent performances today.

Oh come on man. That's such a lame excuse even for you.

He's been a terrible signing. He's not even worth £15m. Dalot is probably on a par with him. Neither are good enough.

How is it a poor excuse?

Its not fair on AWB or any other to be judged differently to any other player because of their price. Thats something he cant control (theres a pun there for you).

Judge them based on what they do on the pitch.

You mean the same Mourinho who spent £1.20 billion on duff players and then turned on them when his outdated tactics started to fail miserably.

Absolutely must keep it tighter than a duck's arse for the first 20-25 minutes.
An early goal against us and another tonking will be on the cards and probably will happen.

Agree with people saying to have some speed on the pitch. Rashford + Elanga must be starters even if Rashford has been gash for months now. He can still run a bit and a few balls over the top of TAA might mean TAA stays back a little more.

I voted for 4-0 though as I have no confidence at all we'll set up properly for this and we'll concede some sort of shitty goal after about 8 minutes.

missed the time of the first goal but otherwise spot on.
If only I had put a bet on.

fix&£king disgraceful from start to finish.

Useless cnuts the lot of them

Players are always judged on what they cost. What on earth are you talking about?

I wouldn't expect the same from Nick Powell (remember him) than I would Paul Pogba.

Just excuse after excuse with this fanbase. Wan Bissaka is awful.

We’ve been in decline for almost a decade now. Remember when Rooney threatened to walk after quizzing Sir Alex, who was backfilling the squad with overpriced & inadequate players. I imagine Phil Jones was one of them?

    Hey. Hey. Hey.
No need to talk sensible in this thread.

    Why are fans doing this?
Making excuses for players who are simply not good enough.
Rashford isn't good enough. He has been crap for 2 years and he is being played because he is England's golden boy.
We have too many players who should be transfer listed, but the board seem to tell the manager who to pick. I can't think of any other reason why Maguire and Rashford consistently get picked to play.

Rashford has spent most of the season on the bench. Particularly since Rangnick took over. I don’t see the point in writing off a 24yr old who we’ve all seen play at a much high standard than this.

I seem to remember plenty of similar nonsense written about the likes of Sterling and Stones at different times. Even TAA got dismissed after one game where he got caught out defensively.

Not every defence of a player is accepting lower standards or making excuses. To be clear Rashford has had one of the worst seasons I’ve seen for a player with his talent. He’s clearly not been the same player pre-injury and pre-surgery. Yet his problems seem mental not physical to me.

Not every career trajectory is a perfect line of development and then consistency. He has earnt some rope but realistically if he doesn’t start pre-season well and hit it off with the new boss he won’t be here for long.

The class of 92 didn't graduate into a disfunctional squad.
