I bet Shaw is playing LCB and we're going 3-4-3 again
Get out with common sense, this is a match day thread
If that were the case why not Lingard, Mata, Greenwood or Chong?
It's obvious it's the same 3-5-2 we played against them at OT
Meanwhile...
Presumably because he's had Salah's number before.I don't mind about 5 in the back, but why use Shaw when he hasn't played well?
Bold selection
A draw or victory and OGS will be a hailed as a genius.
A defeat, and I happen to think we might get hammered, and he's a dickhead.
Let's see what happens.
Who's Liverpool's ref tonight?

Haha, I dont understand people sometimes. Yes, no two games are the same, and we have slightly different personnel from the game at Old Trafford, but we're the only team to have taken points off Liverpool this season in the league, and it came from playing the system Ole has possibly gone with again today.
Meanwhile...
Mata and Greenwood can certainly work something in the later stages of the game if Tony and James keep their back 2 busy and tire them down. Mason only needs one chance and Mata is probably the most clinical finisner in our squad behind Mason. Also no Fabinho is a bonus as Martial should have more space to pick the ball up from deep and turn.Terrible line up and no one on the bench... will be an interesting 90 minutes against the best team in the world right now. It could get messy.
Confirmed Starting XI: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Williams; Matic, Fred, Andreas; James, Martial.
Subs: Romero, Bailly, Jones, Dalot, Mata, Lingard, Greenwood.
Do Liverpool ever have less than their best XI available? Can't remember the last time they had key players out.
Biggest one I remember is Salah going off in the CL final.Do Liverpool ever have less than their best XI available? Can't remember the last time they had key players out.
That's far worse than I even imagined.
5 at the back worked in the first game for about 15 minutes before they figured us out. No doubt Klopp could see this coming and I expect Liverpool to be ready for it.
Lets hope we can put a shift in and grind out a result but I see zero creativity.

So what did you imagine apart from Rashford playing? Obvious team apart from that in my view.
Wonder if it’ll actually be AWB In the back 3 with Williams at RWB instead and shaw LWB?
