People could say 'luck' if it was a 50-50 game with both teams going for it and trying to play football. Losing by those 2 deflected goals would be 'unklucky'. This was deserved.

My only complaint is the awful reffing, it would have not made a difference in a game like today, but the ref favored Liverpool in every aspect

If the board are sacking them based on fan impatience, then you’d have successful managers sacked at the first sign of downturn. It’s a fallacy to blame travelling fans for supporting their team through thick and thin, when the problem is a board not managing the club properly and, which includes not holding coaching staff to account.

While I agree with you, the board has clearly shown that all the things I've mentioned above are not enough to take action. If they need a push and that push can be provided by the fans showing their 'customer dissatisfaction', which is what Ed would see it as, then the fans should do what they can in order to help the club.

The board are incompetent in footballing matters. Until we have a fundamental restructure and overhaul that provides clear separation between commmerical and sporting interests, we are going to remain uncompetitive. Ferguson was an all-powerful God who could mask all the cracks in the club, but no one else can. We brought in Mourinho, the absolute guarantor of success and he cannot do it either. Sacking Mourinho just brings us closer to sacking the next manager, and the next one after that.
