It's critical to create passing options around whoever has the ball, otherwise we just hoof the fecker up and yet another Liverpool attack

Our defence is actually doing ok. They have been limited to long shots majority of the time

Mata,Martial and Pogba should all start on come on early in the 2nd half if Jose is serious about getting something out of this game...

One of the worst performers in the first half. He’s offering nothing at all. Tried to go round Robertson twice when it’s clear he won’t outpace him

I'm referring to his games as a whole, but even in this half I don't think he's been bad. He's actually trying to be positive and trying to make things happen, which is more than we could say for Valencia.

We scored in the only way we could've scored. Capitalize on mistake. General play must improve if we want to get something in the second half.

For all their possession, they haven't created much in the way of opportunities to be fair.

They aren't playing with enough width if you ask me. 95% of their attacking play is through the centre of the park, which is congested as feck.

How will they? We have our bus parked.

Jones at CF would be better than Lukaku at least he won't get bullied off the ball.

Been all over the place but got a bit of luck with the Alisson error and that knocked the stuffing out of them.

Hopefully we can keep in the game and nick a winner.

    Don't we all.
Great to have equalised. 16 points behind Liverpool. More like 16 light years.

Don't know how we survived the first 30 minutes but all to play for now.
I don't know. If we had good coaching and confidence, I think we could beat them. I really do. All our players aren't shit. They just need proper direction.

As it is, we're hoping for a result instead of making things happen.

Anyway, I don't want Liverpool winning the league so we best get something out of this.

Things that go unnoticed, Lingard was pressing Alisson the whole half and ended up getting a goal from the keeper’s mistake. I don’t think that’s a complete coincidence.

I’d take it to be honest. We didn’t start well but got a stroke of luck to be in the game. Liverpool looked a bit deflated but expect them to come out again in the second half.

C’mon boys, let’s ruin their title challenge!

We are Man United and we are now playing to ruin Liverpool’s title chances. Like last year, to stop them from winning their title at Old Trafford. We have sunk so low...

In that case is Lukaku our conductor? He is waving his arms about at everyone. It is confusing everyone including the Liverpool players and even the referee I think.

We've barely been up there

    So true!

The way I see it, Matic is offering us nothing defensively and Lukaku nothing offensively.

At least Pogba can hold onto the ball somewhat competently, and Martial will be able to run about a bit. I'd bring them both on. And maybe Fellaini on for Lingard in the dying stages.

Rashford is yet to mug a keeper off this season. Think he has done it every year so far.

Well Clyne is just a back up and hardly played in last year, Robertson crossing been poor today.

I just think they've rushed things in the final third too much. Think early on in the game when Lindelof was dispossed 25 yards from goal and they messed up a 3 on 1.

Most interesting thing for me for second half is Man. United have more game turning options off the bench than Liverpool. Martial, Mata and Pogba are all potential match winning subs if used correctly.
