I never expected Pogba to start as he has been poor for some time, and Martial is probably still feeling an injury. I do worry about our ability to defend against Salah coming in from the right with a three back defence though. My feeling is that we have struggled a lot defending the space between the wide man of the three and the wing back whenever we have played 3 at the back this year.Looking forward to seeing young Dalot again though. Young and Dalot, as wing-back's, will drop back and make a back five immediately when Pool have the ball, inviting, Robertson, Clyne, Salah and Mane to camp in our half.
Consequently :-
We'll win the ball back often in our own half but find ourselves frustrated with most/or all players in our own half.
My hope :-
