    DDG vs Minolet In net there's no comparison;

Valencia vs Gomez Man versus boy
Bailly vs Matip Hard versus hardly worth the money
Jones vs Lovren Tough versus tepid
Young vs Moreno Smart rather than foolish

Herrera vs Henderson MUFC Player of the year versus England's most over-rated midfielder
Matic vs Can Matic can (and does); Can, cannot!
Mhki vs Wijnaldum Guile & fluid versus fast and fit - perhaps the closest of battles?

Lukaku vs Salah I've been impressed by Salah and his efforts, but who hasn't been impressed with Big Luk!
Mata vs Coutinho Mata will shut Coutinho down as he always does
Martial vs Firminho I think Martial gets the nod but whether him or Rashford, Firminho will be quieted.

On paper, even at Spamfield, I see this 2 nil United all day, regardless of which "system" Jose decides to go with.

You are underrating some of their players. Can, for instance, on his day is quite good.

What I read is that Liverpool haven't been pressing as intensely as they did last season, possibly due to Klopp restraining them from exerting themselves. What that means is, its' fairly obvious that they are going to come out of the blocks flying tomorrow, always happens against us.

If we weather the first 20 minutes, we will be fine. Just need to be cautiously optimistic, rather than overconfident.

3-4-3 or 3-5-2 is the way to go in this match.

    de Gea
    Bailly Jones Darmain
    Valencia Fellaini Matic Young
    Mkhitaryan
    Lukaku Rashford

Still think this is the way to go (with Herrera in for Fellaini due to injury).

This nullifies Coutinho and especially Salah.

Why on earth aren't we wearing black tomorrow?

I'm very worried that we won't win the match because to be honest we have much better team at the moment, but pressure of the derby could influence to it ... Also the line of injuries makes me worried, we could have much stronger lineup.

Why on earth aren't we wearing black tomorrow?
    Are we wearing grey?
*edit* I've seen the post before, but I'm not sure that means we're wearing grey, it could be just marketing.

We are in grey, the PL tweets the kits every team in the league is wearing that weekend on a Friday afternoon.

Hopefully I don't miss this. After picking up a stray dog and have contacted the local animal charity. So I will have to see what they say tomorrow.

Always a bit tricky for MUFC to face up against the mid table teams, tends to raise their game.

Even at home they double park buses and finish 6th or some midtable position. Certainly a case of deja vu. I'm fully expecting a thrashing on current form (s).

Lot of confidence in this thread, on paper we’re the better side but that counts for a lot less on the day.

Hope we’re up for it cos they certainly will be and that will count for a lot tomorrow.

Can’t help but feel nervous, massive game, need our big players to turn in big performances.

    Would take a draw now.

Bad feeling about this game, would be happy with a draw.. Anfield is always tough

That girl I swear has never been on FTD before the Palace game and now she’s representing the channel on Sky? Guess that’s what happens when you’re fit

Her name is Zarah. She works for MUTV. You can see her interviewing fans before the match on our official twitter handle.

We're going to struggle here. Dippers will be well up for it. Firmino, Salah and Coutinho will get chances - and they won't squander all of them. Quite worried about the Blind/Darmian/Young situation too.

Our potency up front will be crucial here as we won't get too many chances. Lukaku better be sharp as feck.

I will have my usual routine of doing the week's ironing whilst watching the game. Keeps me calm, i can take out all my stress on my shirts, and if we win at least i've not wasted my day but instead got a crap job out of the way
You iron through the whole game?

Not looking forward to this at all. Would be hard enough with a fully fit side, but as it stands unless Coutinho and Salah link up well we'll struggle to have a threat.

Hopefully our fans can turn up for a change and actually sing all game instead of when we're winning. Bloody graveyard these days.

Think we will play that, but I don't think Darmian will play. It will be Smalling or Lindelöf most likely or even Blind ahead of Darmian.

For whatever reason I'm not at all nervous for the game. For the first time ever I actually feel like I'll just enjoy the game, it's an odd feeling.

I have a feeling we will play a similar game like we did at CSKA Moscow. 5 at the back with Matic, Herrera and Mkhitaryan in midfield and either Martial or Rashford partnering Lukaku.

Good thing he was a free transfer.

Intense. Hope players go for it with confidence, and prove that we are real contenders this year, I always feel bad about this game specially at anfield. IMO if we go at them right from the start then we will shut their crowd and gain some confidence which will help through the game, hope Jose get this one right and he can silence all his doubters.

Will we play in black or the grey/white/stadium disaster?
