What's this about Bailly being injured?

The alternative would be Rojo so please please PLEASE let him be okay :nervous:

I'd wish you all luck but it wouldn't be sincere.

See you on the other side.

    So basically just Lingard.

Martial is injured and Mkhi presumably still not fit either.

Is Lingard really that much quicker than Young?

EDIT: fair point about shaw but blind has been excellent recently

Big fan of Blind, but not so much at full back, unless it's in a game we're likely to dominate. Shame Shaw isn't back in the side yet. Especially as Mane is going to be going down that side. Mane's pace is stupid.

I wasn't aware Martial was injured, and I'd read yesterday Mkhi was fit again, so that's a shame too.

Lingard and Young are probably around equal, but Lingard is better a receiving and playing the ball at pace. Young usually has to stop and turn. Lingard is more likely to keep moving with the ball which makes him appear quicker, or at least more mobile. He is prone to having games where he is pretty awful though, like against City.

I wasn't suggesting our faster players had all been left out, just that it has resulted in a pretty slow team being fielded. Obviously I hope I am wrong to doubt it.

I have a pretty bad feeling about tonight and have for two weeks and seeing that line-up makes me dread this even more.

Which might actually serve us well as anytime I have a feeling about a particular event, the opposite most certainly always happens.

So we've decided to play our slowest, clumsiest and least technically proficient midfielder as a holding player. Great..

    Looks like suicide.
Fellaini will be overrun tonight, he is immobile, ineffective and with Ibra and Pogba in there, even his height is redundant.
Link up from defence to attack is so stagnant when he's involved.
His inclusion kills my appetite for football.

Mkhitaryan and Martial out, Young starting. Doesn't exactly increase the confidence levels ahead of the match, but lets hope Jose has got the tactics spot on and even more importantly - the players are concentrated and up for it.

I just don't think our defense is solid enough to play the perfect "Jose game" with soaking up pressure and lightning-fast counter-attacks, especially away from home. Not yet.

I am predicting a huge 3-1 win for United. I see Ibra, Fellaini and Young scoring.
That's what I put as my prediction, more in hope than actually believing it though!

Giggsy never sounds that clued up. Carragher keeps trying to tee him up to do some serious analysis, it just ain't happening.

He's so forward thinking he started a decade ago.

Referring to his pre match interview.

"Sometimes you play well and don't win, sometimes you don't play well and win. We'll see what happens out there."

    It's called being a supporter.
Are you familiar with that concept?

So being a supporter means you blindly support something without thinking if it's right or wrong? Then i am not a supporter. Thank you very much.

I hope United shut my mouth and get the much required win, but it's not wrong to say that the lineup looks crap and it looks like Liverpool will run rings around the midfield, especially Fellaini.

Just because Jose is at the helm doesn't mean everything he does makes sense. Right now his line up looks bad, if United win this important game, i will gladly be more supportive of Jose's decisions in the future, not like it matters.
