Young is clearly beneath the standard we should be looking for but Memphis has been horrendous in big games. He was subbed at half time at home vs Liverpool and away at Arsenal in the past, he's a complete liability going back.

Out of the two, I know who I'd trust to have a more positive performance.At least we have a player on the bench that can make something happen if needs be in Mata.Young offers something going forward and defensively. More surprised that Martial not even makes the bench.
Come on Memphis has lost all confidence, no way would I trust him to start at Anfield. Young is experienced and at the very least will graft.
The only explanation is more pace on counters and with Martial out there's no one else really. There is Lindgard of course but with some of the stinkers lately he's not really an option either.The central midfield isn't bad. It's all about Young and Rashford doing the business out wide. Huge night for the pair of them.
