    MUTV's stab at the line-up
Not long until all is revealed, but here is an MUTV prediction. Martial wasn’t pictured with the squad earlier however, so possibly at least one error.

MUTV's predicted Manchester United starting team: #MUFC

    6:14 PM - 17 Oct 2016
Carrick, Pogba, Herrera. That's the midfield I think most of us would want. Carrick to hold, Herrera for energy, Pogba to get forward. Blind at LB seems like it's going to happen, but I have doubts because of the pace they have in attack. Think I'd prefer Shaw there with Blind at LCB over Smalling.

That midfield has it all, on paper at least.

They all offer what the other doesn't and would compliment each other brilliantly.

Maybe it's the drink talking but as we get closer to kick off I'm getting more confident. I just think with our set piece delivery, the height and physicality in our side that we can make life difficult for any team, allied to the fact that this is their big weakness.

    I'd take a 0-0 or 1-1 having said that.

Been looking forward to this all week soo it will probably end up being a 0-0 snoozefest.

MUTV's prediction with the excemption of Mata on for Martial is my prediction. And Mata right side and Rashford to the left.

Mata isn't suited for this game, unless he is in for Pogba

We need pacey forwards to support Ibra
If we go with a three man midfield then Mata can't be starting. Would surely be Lingard and Rashford either side of Ibra.

I don't belive that Carrick will start this game. He's is too slow against such teams.

Let's completely forget Mata was one of the main reasons why we've been beating Liverpool recently.
Different systems, though. We don't play a possession based game any more, so we need to be quicker in turnovers especially in a game like this.

Mata scored two goals in a dominant victory at Anfield not too long ago.

As much as anything in these games, you need players who can step up and handle the pressure. We know Mata can, I'm less sure about some of our other players.
