    McNair - - - - Smalling
    Blind
    Darmian - Carrick - BFS - Young
    Mata - Rooney - Martial
I actually Dont mind this. Mata in midfield away to Liecester with carrick and bastian behind is asking for trouble in my opinion. Hopefully its mata out wide

The hysteria in this thread. At least wait for the game before you start your meltdown.

    McNair in away game?

Not yet seen one good away performance from him. Hoping for a change.

Why don't people wait to we start playing badly, THEN complain. It's only a line-up ffs.

300 million pounds spent and we have to line up like this. We are shite at transfers it has to be said.

We do have a shit load of injuries.

But the point still stands. Our squad (the 3rd most expensive in the world) is nowhere near as good as it should be for the money spent.

Schneiderlin looked done for in the second half against PSV. Right call to rest him.

I'm not concerned about Morgan not starting. Carrick has had the rest he needs and we win most of the time he starts. Morgan will come on in the second half.

I see a 1-2 win in the cards.

All of our signings from last season are either injured (Shaw, Herrera, Rojo) or sold (Di Maria) apart from Blind who starts

So we are shite at healing?:D

I just put in my score prediction and saw that more tha 50% of the people on this forum think we will not win - against Leicester :nervous:

Why is this at 5:30 instead of 5:15? Am I going mad?

If we play that it's a good side IMO. Very attacking. Good to have Carrick and BFS pushed up.

Everyone! We are winning that game, we are winning that game, we are winning that game...

Remember when he randomly threw him in at right back away against Swansea last year, then subbed him at half time because he was crap?

Van Gaal doesn't learn from his mistakes. If we win today, it will be in spite of him, not because of him.

Our only other defender on the bench is 18 years old.

He was subbed at Southampton too last season. Wasn't really great against Everton too.

27 players sold or moved on in that time.

Its not hard is it, really, once you take a deep breath and look at it rationally.

How on earth is our squad the 3rd most expensive in the world?

I think it better to have the back 4 line up like this... what d you think?

    Darmian Smalling Paddy Blind
Usually I would but I'd rather not throw McNair in at the deep end like that today. Keep with the tested partnership as it'll be tough to deal with Leicester as is.

The negativity on here is more unbearable than the negativity on the pitch. Really gets me down coming on here nowadays.
    It is.

Looks like McNair will be RB and has been brought in to help with Vardy in that inside left channel. But that gets completely missed and everyone would rather talk shite about us playing 3-5-2

I'm sure Morgan would have played had he not looked completely fecked in the last 10/15 mins on Wednesday.

Pretty obvious he needed a bit of a rest.

Leicester is efficient, and well organized. A bit like PSV. United couldn't beat PSV at home. By transition, the game today is much harder, so I can understand the difficulty.

Nevertheless I went for a tight win...

I actually think he's playing a 1-3-6 formation. I have nothing to base this on but feck it I'm going to moan anyway.

    Van Gaal out.

Team should be good enough to beat Leicester.

No surprise Depay dropped, with Lingard injured obvious Mata would reclaim his place, with Rojo and Jone injured makes sense to bring McNair back in.

Only surprise is Schneiderlin, but Carrick to add a bit of quality passing isn't too bad.

Comfortable win, loads of effort by Leicester, but United will convert their 2 chances and game over.

    Stop.... Just stop....

Quite like the side actually, so long as we don't have a brainfart in the first 15 minutes like at Arsenal. Lots of good ball players in that side though. I'm eager to see more of McNair. He looks so comfortable running with the ball. Him, Blind, Carrick and Bastian all in the back 6, no excuse for not keeping the ball and controlling the game, which we struggled to do against Watford in the 2nd half.

If Rooney could finally turn up and not plod about with boots made of trampolines, then I'm pretty confident we'll win with some comfort.

We're overdue due for a fantastic performance and, given the hype going into this game, I really do see us handling the pressure better than Leicester City.

Lots of boxes need to be checked, but above all we can't lose possession foolishly as we did against Swansea.
