I’m not sure we are playing 3 at the back, I have a liking for Bailly but two years back he was rubbish at RB against PSG so I hope he’s in the centre with Maguire and we play a defensive two in midfield with Bruno pulling the strings and three up front with Rashford on the left, Janes (not sure about why not Greenwood) on the right and Martial centre.

Yes you can. Team Squad and each game on its merits

    Different opposition

Dan James had half a pitch of space against Leeds but he wont get an inch today and he struggles to beat his man. Hope im wrong here and we go for it with McTominay pushing on like he did against Leeds.

I was wrong in mid week fair play to Ole and I hope im wrong again today but....

In the long run you can't have the likes of Pogba, VdB, Greenwood and Cavani on the bench with lesser players in the starting 11.

The only lesser player in our team is James. Non of the players you listed can slot in a double pivot. It's A tactical game after all.

Not sure about Bailly at RB. Didnt he have a shocker last time he played there?

James at wing back would probably make more sense... still a bit strange though.

Weird how when Matic plays we dont need a double Pivot though? 2 players do 1 persons job for me.

Expected lineup (except James) but Pogba and Cavani on the bench is always odd thing for me. Pogba should play.

I really hope its James RWB that's the only place I can really see him having a bit of a future here if he adapts his game with his hard working mentality.

I don’t get why we always change our formation to try and counter the opposition. Let them deal with us!

We rarely play well in 352 with and no proper wingback it’s going to be all over the place.

unfortunately I can see us losing this one. The lack of proper RB replacements has cost us it seems!

Good to see MCT is fit and in there with Fred. Bailly is a strange choice, he always has an error in him, i suspect hes CH and victor RB. Im not surprised James is in and i put him in my team selection. He played well against Leeds and is in on merit.

Have to say I'm not wild about that team. I get rewarding the players who did so well at Leeds, but I really feel this is not the kind of game that suits Daniel James, expect him to come off for Greenwood after 60 minutes of being ineffectual. I suppose it's possible he's picked him because of the lack of natural width from RB. Also concerned we may suffer from not having enough creativity; think we will need Pogba and VDB from the bench as well.

On another note, is Brandon Williams injured? Would have thought he would be the one to come in if Wan-Bissaka is out.

Another one of those lineups that looks a little weird at first, but will probably work well in the context of this game. I've got a good feeling that we'll get a good result. Would take a 1-0 or a 2-1 win for sure.

Bailly or Lindelöf at RB is a surprising one, as is James starting. I hope McTominay is actually fit.

    I don't think we're playing 352 are we?

I we keep a clean sheet until then he would have done his job

Please not Bailey at RB, tried it before and he was horrific, if he is there he has to really step up today.

Interesting Ole has picked James again, showing some faith in the lad, he should provide extra cover for whoever is playing RB.

That bench is so strong now, get to see, bringing on 3 of those in the second half really does give us so many options.

This has got to be five at the back with James as RWB surely. Otherwise I cannot make sense of the line up. It’s an interesting decision by Ole - relies completely on James/Shaw getting forward and McT making similar overlapping runs as he did against Leeds. I can see why Bailly is there, to have pace against Vardy, but personally I don’t think we need to fear this Leicester side and I’d have gone with a more attacking team

Also, our bench is utterly ridiculous!

Creativity will come from Shaw at wing-back
