Poor line up. Rojo has demonstrated on many occasions that he's no left back, so I have no idea what he's doing out there.

We'll never seriously improve if we can't stick to a consistent first team.

It's just the fact that I see so many nowadays making the same statement. What does it achieve?
What does your response achieve? I'm not trying to 'achieve' anything, I'm not sitting here hoping Mourinho will read my post and change the team ffs. I'm simply venting my frustration at such contradictory decisions - such as claiming the MOTM must play but then dropping the MOTM or claiming Martial didn't take his chances when he got 2 assists but somehow Rashford maintains his spot after playing dreadfully.

You're in no position to be high and mighty about posters being critical in the match day thread to be fair. Lest we forget where your tagline came from.

Because Mourinho want to make a point against Martial. Simple as that.

All we ask for is consistency and fairness from match officials, yet the same doesn't even apply to team selection.

Martial has to play 'magnificently' or he faces the bench, yet when Rashford plays average he gets rewarded with another start.

Couldn't give a shit if one is a local Manc. Jose needs to wise up!

You have got absolutely no idea why he's leaving him out, I mean, honestly, none. Your opening post was so dramatic that the cringe feeling doesn't stop for me even now.

Glad to hear it. If has him in the squad he should certainly be starting.

So you excuse a player playing shite who's on a lot less than Rooney, despite playing for the same team and holding the same expectations?

I've already said as much when I said that Lingard has different expectation to Martial and as such Martial is required to play at a higher level. That's how you motivate individuals.

Rooney should still be running the show, he's barely running at the minute. Absolute potato.

This. Marital has been shit this season, a couple of assists against Wigan and suddenly mou hasn't a clue blah blah

Why Mata/Rashford ahead of Martial FFS + Rojo at LB and Smalling in..

If City drop points then it is absolutely sure we'll either lose or draw this game.

Rooney is just a squad member
The measure of how Wayne Rooney is looked upon now is that his absence from United’s squad didn’t exactly measure on the Richter scale like it did back in the autumn. No doubt about it now he is just a squad member. However, no matter what some United fans might say he is a squad member most of the rest of the Premier League would want to be able to call upon.

If you lot don't want Shaw, I'd gladly have him at Chelsea. I reckon he could do a great job on the left for us.
He's a Chelsea fan too so would probably walk to the bridge if he leave us.

Has it ever occurred to some of you that perhaps Rashford is showing more and/or working harder than Martial in training?

Let's hope Martial gets minutes today and does well. We need him in last season's form.

Couldn't care less if he's not performing in the games. Martial has been playing better and we've been winning more often when he's been in the team. We need the points.

Awful lot of overreaction about Martial's omission but isn't the recent treatment of Carrick stranger?

Everything this season points to us being significantly better when he plays but recently he's either been left out or been the first player substituted if we're not winning at half-time.

Please leave Martial the club you are better than this. Mourinho is a complete joke and should be sacked.
Go outside and take a deep breath of fresh air. Then make a cup of tea, sit down and get a grip of yourself.
Line up doesn't surprise me. Pretty much what i expected. 0-0

Is the Cafe really expecting sense from someone whose username is BringNaniBack?

People need to get over something I said in the heat of the moment. I stand by it being an utter joke that Martial is left out again though.

Nervous about today. Can see them scoring a poxy few goals like the did against City.

Can't wait for us to slip up and fail to capitalise on those above us dropping points again.

Rashford again. He's done feck all when he's started from the wing. Rojo left back as well. Do wonder what goes through Mourinho's head at times.

Carrick was really poor in those substitutions though. The only problem is that we replaced him with Rooney.

Mourinho didn't want Shaw at Chelsea because he was asking for too much money (it's documented..look it up) so there is absolutely no surprise that he doesn't want him at Utd either.

6 bloody months he had before he took this job and man acts a tool when it comes selection and knowing the best players.

He's been garbage in his last two starts so no.

Offers absolutely nothing going forward so I don't really see it working in your system.

Despite my problem with Rojo at left back, we should have enough to beat Leicester. Come on, we can't miss the opportunity to close the gap once again.

I think Rojo will do fine at left back. He's got so much confidence now so there's the difference.

Guessing he just wants more pace at fullback to deal with their channel balls hence Rojo there instead of Blind.
Think Herrera, Pogba & Mata is going to work well today for some reason.
