Fellani is going to have a great season.
He looks great. Somebody mentioned it in another thread, but he feels like a defensive version of Martial.Wazza can be substituted now as far as I am concernedExcellent goal by Lingard, so pleased for him.

1. Bailly fitting in just perfect. He is allowed mistakes to get to know how not to repeat them.
2. The game is a long ball game from Leicester and that has suited Fellaini more than it has Carrick, which is why many feel like Carrick has been missing, think its just the type of game being played.
3. Rooney...enough said.
4. Jesse is really stepping up, I was not happy that he was put in ahead of Mhki, but my word, did he make me eat my thoughts.
5. Zlatan, needs a partner to start playing off on. He is coming in too deep to try and get some of the ball. Like his strength so far and will fit right in, just needs good service as any striker does.
6. Martial been quiet, but again might just need to get some more minutes in his legs, or maybe its still in his head that his no more no 9. Think he will grow into the game. Should keep him on till at least 65min

I don't get the extent to which Fellaini is disliked tbh. I hate his elbowing too, so to a certain extent I understand it. But there are other players such as say, Herrera, who get away relatively easily from criticism.
This is a Fellaini type game. Leicester are playing long ball game, and he has been on the end of a few headers already, so its suiting him more than it would say Herrera who is more on the floor technical player.
I've been saying this over and over for the past 3-4 years. Rooney has to be the LUCKIEST player to ever lay feet on a football field and as a professional. I've seen world class players ditched after they performances dipped and they got sold(Ronaldinho).
I swear even the likes of Messi would have gotten benched if not sold by their respective clubs years ago if they performances had dipped as bad as Rooney for year. Yet the guy finds himself always guaranty a place in the first team despite playing some absolutely horrible football week in week out. And this has gone for years with 4 different managers.
The guy is the luckiest football player EVER.Martial's form is a massive worry. He badly needs a goal as he looks as though he's playing with zero confidence.
The inability of one of our cm's to push up is having a bit of a domino affect on the rest of the team. Rooney is dropping deeper to get involved which then means Ibra has to drop deeper to get involved too.Lots of positives to take from that first half. Bailly has looked top notch. Shaw has still got his electrifying pace and stamina. Fellaini has done a top job in front of the defence breaking things up.
Negatives are how invisible martial has been, Rooney having his typical start to the season where he looks like he's forgot what a football is and zlatan dropping too deep at times.Not really concerned with the style of play given how early on we are in the season. That, and it will take time to clear out the LVG cobwebs from the players' brains.- Status
