Yeah, he was world-class in that first half, head and shoulders above everyone on the pitch, but given his contract situation, it's inevitable that fans are going to question if he's doing it for United or putting himself in the shop window. Sad but true.

Suffice to say, we'd all be enjoying his performance a lot more if he'd put pen to paper already.

It's not really controversial. It's obvious. Rashford still offers his pace and then we keep waiting for him to stop being terrible. But Lingard is a harder worker, and always has been.
