Take Ronaldo off in preparation for Atleti. It's not as if he's been any good so far anyway.

    Pogba playing for contract renewal.
    McT is so shit.
    Sancho is world class.
    Ronaldo missed a sitter again.
    Macguire and Lindelof good.

McTominay has been like Fernandinho today. He’s intercepted a lot and when not, he has fouled and broken up attacks. Been very productive.

He is. Better at keeping the ball, more assured defensively. It's not like Dalot is some attacking phenomenon.

All I've seen today is him kicking players and falling over a lot.

Dallot is a better attacker period.

This is a good performance. Pogba is our best player. Sancho is really playing well now. Good to see.

Actually think it's been a game between 2 poor teams but meh gave up caring about good performances ages ago all about the points

That was a good half, conditions are bad, lindelof made the 2nd goal, Sancho great cross, the pitch looks like its holding some water in parts, understandable with the weather. Just hope it doesn't come into play, lingard is doing some selfless running as is Sancho who's improved . And 140 corners we get one.

He is. Better at keeping the ball, more assured defensively. It's not like Dalot is some attacking phenomenon.
Both of these are debatable. He is good at tackling but then jogs around and is not aware of his surroundings. Does absolutely nothing most of the time when he has the ball.

Reality is both are average but Dalot is just slightly more suited to play in this team.

Leeds just repeat the same things over and over, again. They just leave huge amounts of space all over the pitch. Such a dodgy side.

Decent performance. Pogba is bossing it.
Happy for Maguire as well, he's been very good so far.

Hard to make any long term judgements off this game as Leeds are such a structural embarrassment but Utd have been up for a fight in tough conditions, and fully deserve the 2 goals. Never going to be a flowing match, there will be a ton of mistakes.
About sums it up. Playing very well in the conditions.

That second goal was massive. Hopefully we can kill the game off now.

Pogba and Lindelof our stand outs.

Some of the things Pogba does with the balls others can only dream of.

Great half under abysmal conditions. Pogba has been fantastic. Bruno and Sancho are coming into the game too. We scored from a corner! Good on Maguire, should shut the papers up for a while. A Ronaldo goal and a clean sheet would be perfect.

Brilliant play from Lindelof for the second. When teams press high, we need players to dribble and 1 touch pass our way forward to the space left behind, Lindelof saw that and decided to be brave. Most importantly we've kept up with Leeds in terms of workrate and if we keep that up second half it should be comfortable.

As soon as Sky Sports displayed that statistic about our corner record prior to our goal, I just knew that we would score, the world works in hilarious ways...

So far so good but another 45 minutes to be played and we usually struggle in the 2nd half.

What's the minimum number of minutes you have to play for a result to be accepted after an abandonment? I vaguely recall it being 70 minutes. But I'm probably misremembering.
    So apparently...

It is essentially at the discretion of the FA what happens if a game is abandoned after a period of it has been played, as this extract from the Football League rules suggests:

”…any League Match which from any cause whatever falls short of 90 (ninety) minutes’ duration may be ordered to count as a completed fixture or be replayed in full or in part on whatever terms and conditions the Board shall in their absolute discretion determine and shall be played in compliance with these Regulations and the Football Association Rules respectively and under the Laws of the Game as approved by the International Football Association Board”.

Would it be too much to ask for a third goal so my doubt doesn't creep in? Preferably a Ronaldo triple twist summersaulting bicycle kick.

Maguire playing well, McTom eating people up, Pogba with some incredible bits of play.
Would love a Ronaldo goal just to stop the constant moaning threads. The chance looked good, but on the slow mo it slowed up and wasn't the absolute sitter it looked first view.

McTominay has been like Fernandinho today. He’s intercepted a lot and when not, he has fouled and broken up attacks. Been very productive.

Been very effective, but no-one or not many, as usual, want to admit it. He is treading a fine line on getting a yellow but he has been a physical presence the whole half.

If you can't enjoy Pogba today and prefer talking about his contract, I don't know what to tell except maybe this isn't the sport for you.
