    He was bang average hence his player rating of 6/10.

    He will never be a starting player for a team competing for the premier league. I do agree that Fred is not good enough too.
     
    Think it will be much different to all previous meetings where they just let us rip them apart. It will be very hostile and we seem to crumble under pressure from away crowds at the moment. They'll be cheering every bad touch.

    McT technically is just not good enough. He can be a good squad player for us, but cannot be a regular top tier starter. Watch the middies for Real, PSG, Pool, Chelsea etc...the technical gulf between us and them is gigantic
     
    Leeds were the biggest games of the season when i was a teenager in early 90s - makes me feel a right old *** seeing how little fuss there is on here - just another game against relegation fodder now its weird. Might make the 4th page by kick off!

    Yeah the sad part is these players who should be good squad players for us end up hated because we keep overusing them in the starting 11. It’s really not their fault the manager overplays them and the club won’t sign better players.

    Yeah it’s crazy how rivalries have completely changed now. My favourite game always used to be us vs Arsenal. Now we are both regular teams. The Liverpool games are boring and lack home grown characters like Gerrard and Neville.
    Even our rivalry with City is dead at the moment, we are too uncompetitive for the games to matter.
     
    I couldn't help but notice that Leeds are missing two of their better players (Phillips & Bamford), so really no excuse not to get all 3 points despite the intimidating atmosphere at Elland Road.

    Those were at home. Last season at Elland Road was a tight and boring game where we never tested them.

    ALL previous games? You mean the last 2 home games?
    The away game was 0-0 last year, and that was without crowds.
     
    Really looking forward to this one.
    No doubt we will get chances, we need to break the trend of missing them.

    If we do, it will be a comprehensive win.

    Nothing wrong with this especially he's only here for a few years, I agree.

    So it's also nothing wrong, when we fan treat him as rival players throwing tribalistic insult his way. It's just football.

    Agree but for some reason generally if they play we win more games and despite their failings, I think that’s why different managers play them.
     
    I live in a Leeds postcode, 2 miles from their training ground, i/2 a mile from Bielsa having moved across the Pennines when i met my wife who is local. The rest of our household is Leeds as is 75% of my workplace.

    Mctominay usually plays well against this lot, but i rate him that low i wouldn't be against Fred starting. Bielsa will target Shaw and have a ton of success.
