Just lost his confidence and is rushing everything. Someone just needs to tell him to calm down. He's getting into good areas he just needs to stay calm.,,,
But how many times same mistake? Same decision over and over again, that too many times not being under pressure.

Ince and Hargreaves. What a combination

I've always though Hargreaves is a decent pundit, with the exception of the beginning of his pundit career where he seemed a little bitter towards us.

Romero - 6. Not done much, lumped the ball up instead of passing out to start a counter, that annoyed me.
Williams - 6. Has been fine.
Bailly - 6. Good block, but making stupid decisions now and then.
Maguire - 7. Should have a goal. Looks solid.
Shaw - 6. Made some good runs, quiet in the latter half of the half.
Fred - 7. Made some good passes.
McTominay - 6. Relatively quiet. Sent a ball into low earth orbit after a shot early on.
Mata - 4. Playing poorly, giving the ball away numerous times.
James - 5. As usual, runs are causing LASK problems but his decision making and last ball are atrocious.
Bruno - 8. One or two missplaced passes but overall looking great as usual, got the assist, has put in some dangerous balls.
Ighalo - 8. Awesome goal. Had another good shot earlier on. Playing well.
Agree with your ratings except I would take minus 1 on everybody because the opposition is the worst I’ve seen this season.

James could develop into a vital player.

But he needs end product as an attacker. We are (rightfully) critisising Lingard for lack thereof - but there is nothing in this regard from James recently, either...

It would be perfectly understandable if Greenwood wasn't starting games (yes, even at his formative age) due to his position on the right being taken by someone more experienced and proven, but, instead what we find is that Greenwood is starting from the bench mostly to accommodate a player who is less talented and arguably not as productive or consistent either.

It's a little like if Carles Perez was still at Barça playing games and the better, but younger, Ansu Fati was on the bench most games instead.
Or that he’s just 18 and doesn’t need to be overplayed.

He’ll start at home, more likely

Well this is weird so far. Focusing on the football though, decent performance by us so far. Excellent goal. Ighalo did so well to control that ball and he really smashed it into top corner. Inventive stuff by Fernandes as well to create that goal.

Fair play to that one lad singing the United songs.
Wish I knew him/had his mobile number - we could send requests.

    "Sing United calypso".

It'd be like having a human chant jukebox.

Maybe it is about skill not is he calm or not.

It’s not just product we criticise Lingz for. He looks lazy, gives the ball away and is hardly involved.

You can accuse James for bad decision making but he has a lot of positives

Sorry but this comment is bizarre. James still leads the assists table for the club and has 3 goals to add to that, his end product is nowhere near as bad as Lingard and he is in his first PL season and 5 years younger so has a lot more room to develop. This place is so fecking toxic towards players at times it is embarassing.

To be fair to Hargreaves he's been positive about us for a little while. Dunno what's gotten into him.
I've always though Hargreaves is a decent pundit, with the exception of the beginning of his pundit career where he seemed a little bitter towards us.

He was unusually balanced today, at least in comparison to Ince, who was a fecking bell as usual

Could do without a Liverpool fan hugging ex player commentator. Ince should be in the UK consoling Liverpool fans.

certainly James is much better than Lingard - there is no doubt about that. But he still needs to play better than he does

    Mata has to better surely

Even if Sancho came, he’d need breaks. James could develop into a vital player.

A lot of players improve with experience so why the condemnation of him in his first season?
Just a lack of patience I suppose, it’s easy for people to forget it’s his second season in senior football, never mind his first at this level.

We need to step it up. Need another goal at least

Bailly’s pace at the back is such an asset. Could be such a player if he had a brain
