Mainoo is an academy product and Eth barely ever played Ugarte. I never understood ETH's obsession in expecting his CM to do so many things (pass the ball Scholes style, cover acres of pitch, help the defense, cover the the spaces left by the flanks who never seem to drop back and help defending etc) only to then sign the likes of Casemiro, Eriksen and Mount. Mount is a no 10 and Eriksen/Casemiro legs were gone.
TBF I expected Amorim to play with Mainoo and Ugarte. Quite frankly I thought we'll never see Eriksen play again
