Given that there are professionals who have been at the game since they were youngsters, shouldn't they know by now the game is 90 minutes (plus stoppage time) and maybe, just maybe they should be fecking ready to play from the time the first whistle blows to the time the last whistle blows?

We don't have enough quality to up the performances of those around them, specially when we play a few more 2nd string. It's obvious.

That penalty was a shocker. But we don't even look like we're going to score in this game. This performance was so predictable after the lineup came out. You can't just throw 11 players on and expect to put a good performance. There is no balance in this lineup.

You're right, I can't think of one good performance this season when we've made several changes.

Think we should maybe have rotated more. Some of the players just don't look up for this. Although it doesn't help that our back four are awful at distributing. Valencia's value as an outlet is really noticeable when he doesn't play

We look like we're playing with only one attacker, Rashford, other too need taking off.

What has Martial actually done to not get in this team?

Swear we always play shit in this white kit.

I guess we'll rotate a bit on Sunday.

Don't understand why our centerbacks play hoofball when we play a 3 man midfield.

Was wondering the same tbh. Think the only player you can say is a genuine squad player getting an odd start is lingard. The rest, you wouldnt be surprised at seeing in our starting line up.

Based on that, its off people are complaining about the team selection.
It's just people complaining in order to have something to complain about. DdG, one of Rojo/Jones, Pogba, Carrick, Herrera and Zlatan are nailed on starters in our side at the moment. And people are blaming Mourinho. Blame the players for not playing to their ability and giving a feck. An actual reserve side would probably have been more hungry today than these lot.

Said it numerous times on the caf, we constantly make everything difficult to ourselves. Why we are "strolling" against such shite opposition like today is beyond me. We are simply inviting pressure, because the likes of Hull or Stoke can grow into game knowing that they are not 1 or 2 behind already. Our defensive line is absolutely shocking, the likes of Smalling or Darmian, my Lord! The ball control, and the calmness between those two!

Any chance we can sub off the entire team and get the U-23s in there?

They'd without a doubt show more passion.

These types of performances really piss me off.

The matchgoers are the ones I really feel sorry for. Sang their hearts out with this god awful song and this is what they get for their money and passion.

There is no way moss would have given us that penalty. That said it has been a lethargic, sloppy, uninterested, lacklustre performance. Just going through the motions. Second to every ball, and hull are playing with no fear.

It's my second time properly getting involved in the matchday thread - some of the bile posted has really surprised me.

It's not even HT yet you would think are 3-0 down and it's the 90th min!

It's the same regardless of how we play.

Arrogance - only explanation for letting them have the initiative the whole half with zero threat on the counter. Have to blame Mourinho because the game plan must have come from him, to be conservative and protect the 2 goal lead.

I'm surprised he even managed to get a touch on it. Not doing the Lingard bandwagon any favours unsurprisingly.
I was going to post a sarcy comment about Dawson having a better touch but to be fair that was a difficult ball to bring down.

Mata instead of lingard and it's a goal but matas first touch is sensual
