Normally I'd say this is a perfect opportunity to push our GD up. However, I feel like that is too much to ask from this group of players so I will just take a win.

If you can't have hope for your football team, you should give up supporting them.
There’s a difference between hoping your football team does well and acknowledging one of those players isn’t good enough.

I sure as feck would love it if Alexis bags 5 goals today, and revives his career, but we all know that isn’t happening.

I had Herrera and Smalling starting over Jones and Matic. Colour me unenthused.

I thought Sanchez looked very good in his 10 minute cameo against Barca. He's not really had a proper chance since. I'd love it if he could show more of that form again.

One of the problems that's blighted his United career so far is that he's never really had a rest. He joined in midseason and has either been playing or injured or immediately coming back from injury to play full matches.

This time around, Ole's given him 10 minutes here, 7 minutes there and 25 minutes off the bench. Fingers crossed that a slow ramp up will allow to show his best.
Sanchez could play like Messi in these last 2 games, it shouldn't save him from the scrap heap. It's time to give up on him. It's proven, without doubt, that he's not good enough over the course of a season. One or two games don't change that.

What is bloody wrong with our squad? Everyone getting injuries all the time. We must be doing something wrong. Bring in new fitness coaches for sure. Change the diet and try something new.

    Unexpected.
Surprised at Young instead of Dalot and Matic instead of Pereira

Predicting the line ups of late is a bit like trying to choose the winning lottery numbers

It sounds as though you want Sanchez to fail.

:eek: Jones over Smalling and no Rom , did you know he was injured ? And Sanchez dont think many expected him to start. Come on are you really Ole
Someone posted the matchday squad before I picked my XI. I kinda felt that Ole was going to go back to the back-seven that he mostly used during that winning run since all seven are finally available, hence why I picked Jones and also Herrera.

Looking at the team and our bench then just hope for a win. Rashford and Sanchez up front don't give us confidence really.

    Unbelievable no youngster
Ole cant seem to walk the talk, but anyway will give him the benefit of doubt since there is a remotely some chance of getting top 4
It was pie in the sky to suggest he was going to “play the kids”.

If he became the best player in the world we should sell him? Christ, talk about agendas...

I stand by my hope that he'll play well.

Damn. I was looking forward to a YMCA goal celebration from Rom & Young...probably in 2073 though, tbh.

I just don't get it, seems like a massive own goal from him when he could have easily put someone in and got praise.

Only Chong on the bench too, I'd hope he's given at least 30mins.

Chong wont see the pitch unless we're 3 up on the 60 minute mark, and we all know we won't be because of these players, well, everyone but Ole it seems.

No idea why Ole persists with the same players that are going to get him the sack, people will say we've still got s chance at top 4, but these players Ole is selecting are the same ones that have squandered a chance to cement our place there.

My guess is we won't win both of these games anyway.

Strange line-up, not sure why Herrera isnt playing but Matic is. I thought Rashford was injured, Ole's obssession with him is going to be an issue I feel.

Behind Ole but man does he do a lot of talking and not back it up. We continue to play the same proven shit players. What is the point? He says he is ruthless. I don't see it.

Starting to think we will have the same team for the most part next season.

Totally. OGS is starting to feel like a fraud.

Sanchez can score ten goals today and I will still call him a flop. He has been shit for two years (inc arsenal that season). He is in the decline. He needs to be sold.

Dalot has been dropped so I guess he was ruthless to him. Not sure which players we miss given that everyone is out with injuries.
