One of the problems that's blighted his United career so far is that he's never really had a rest. He joined in midseason and has either been playing or injured or immediately coming back from injury to play full matches.

This time around, Ole's given him 10 minutes here, 7 minutes there and 25 minutes off the bench. Fingers crossed that a slow ramp up will allow to show his best.

The forks been stuck in Alexis for about 12 months now, mate. Let it go.

What is the point? What is the point of talking constantly about youth and the United way when the season is pretty much over and we continue to play players with no future like Young and Mata. Why not give experience to Dalot or have Gomes on the bench.

Smalling wasn't in the training pictures on Wednesday so he's probably still been injured.
