Was thinking about the game today and our injuries. And a thought popped into my head.

If pennywise the clown appeared to the united fans, looking for their fear. He would show us a skysports headline: Matic injured and out for the next 6 months.

Is he the character out of that recent film?

Loosing Matic would be incredibly hard to take, and to replace, that is for sure.

We have replacements for every other position, except for his, (as Carrick is getting on in years, and isn't as dynamic as he once was sadly).

Yes, from IT movie. Felt horror even by reading that line on Matic

Martial is obviously starting cause Marcus had a knock.

I know you're being sarcastic but for those of you who aren't, Mourinho confirmed yesterday that Rashford is fully fit for this game. So Martial is starting in the league despite Rashford being available.

    Didn't know that. Thanks. (Seriously)

    I was a bit sarcastic. I'll leave it. :D

    I don't think he is.
Isn't he in the Jose hates Martial brigade?

Ahh right, sorry, I haven't seen that film, but yeah it would be a bit of a nightmare for us if he were to be injured for any sort of spell.

It would be like of City were to be without de Bruyne for a long period, as they don't have anyone to replace him.

Be great if we can win today, and Chelsea get beat at home once again.

Yeah, was pretty obvious that Mourinho was rotating them. Wish he'd just put them both in from the start though.

Why, when neither are really all that good on the right hand side, you would just be putting them in, for the sake of it then, which isn't the best way to go about things.

Always thought Rasfhford was more suited to the right actually. He's gotten better on the left but he was pretty awful there for a long time and very wasteful. On the right he is more unpredictable as he is very good at whipping in crosses but also likes coming inside on occasion. Plus all our right wingers are shite so why not.

    10/11 had Mkhi.

Well done Mou for playing people on merit.

    2:00 PM - Oct 21, 2017

Good lineup! Martial and Lukaku work well together, hoping for an early goal. Mickhi dropped too, all good.

I guess Valencia got over his physical issues, since he's starting his 3rd game in 8 days.

Good team :) Expect both Martial and Lukaku to get a goal or assist as they have looked to have a good understanding so far whenever they've played. Fair that Miki is dropped, been a bit wank lately.

11/11 - was an easy one today. Jones plays the Premier League games when fit. Mkhitaryan has been less influential and is maybe a bit fatigued, Lingard is pretty fresh so was always going to get in over these next two games. Young didn't play mid-week so was the most likely left back as Darmian is usually favoured in the games where we're expected to have to be more defensive. Rashford's knock was also going to keep him on the bench at least.

Would have preferred Rashford on the right. Still, its' Huddersfield, Lingard should be enough.

He's fresh as well, hasn't played much this season.

good news. He doesn't deserve to start anymore. It's been a while since he doesn't.
This has nothing to do with merit, he just can't take so many games in a row.

Good starting 11. Would have ideally wanted Rashford starting and Mata in the middle instead of Lingard, but still a solid and expected lineup. Hopefully we win comfortably today.

4-0. Lukaku brace, Martial and Mata to score.
