No need to be resting key players, it's an away game against a PL side. Don't need the Fred/McTominay base so go with the more attacking Matic/Pogba axis.

    DDG

    AWB Lindelöf Maguire Shaw

    Matic Pogba

    VDB Bruno Rashford

    Cavani

Need tonight to be the night our front 3 click. Can't be doing with another tense 1-0 or 2-1. The only time this season we've been winning by more than 1 goal by the 75th minute has been the Leeds game. Too many tense encounters.

Tell me about it. I think some people are on crack. As if we’re gonna start resting players now we look like we’re in a title race. You wont see city and Liverpool benching key players, let alone three days before a cup tie. It’ll be the usual changes of Fred/mctominay to Matic/Pogba I suspect and that’s it.

We will likely have a lot of the ball and Fulham will sit in so need players on the pitch that can create things in tight space around the box.

Wow, just 1 comfortable game. Not good gor our nerbes... here is hoping today is easier

I expect another nail biter, Fulham are tough to break down, its not like they let in many goals. We should win, we have to win, and I think we will. But it won't be an easy watch.

The only player who really needs a rest is Bruno, but that rest will have to wait until we face Sheffield. I’d go with the same XI as against Liverpool with the exception of Matic over McTominay, who didn’t offer much in his last outing.

We know Fulham are enjoying a nice run right now, so no fukking around with mass rotation.

Years ago, someone had a co-worker that was a Fulham fan and they had a little stuffed bear in Fulham colours on their desk.

They took they bear, left a ransom note and sent pictures of the bear in various places to the person.

Then they posted about it on the caf and offered to mail the bear to other posters so that they might take pictures of the bear in other locations to continue their kidnapping gag.

The bear travelled across the world and it was pretty fecking hilarious.

edit: here you go...The Curse of the Fulham Bear by my friend, the legendary @Bill.s.preston

    That's hilarious

Can't believe you've been here for coming up to 11 years and don't know who Fulham bear is.

    First I've heard of it.

Same here, I reckon it could be another Wolvesesgue result but god I hope I’m wrong, my ticker ain’t what it used to be.

We need to see Ole's Plan B today. Plan A is clearly Bruno at the heart of things, but as everyone is noting, Bruno needs a rest. Rashford has looked like he's carrying an injury lately, so what can Ole craft without those two? It's time to integrate VDB into the side and still maintain some sense of the playing style we want.

Yeah would like to see some rotation tonight and giving others a well deserved chance. I'd go with:

    De Gea
    AWB Lindeloff Maguire Telles
    VdB Fred
    Pogba
    Cavani Greenwood

Correct. My concern is that some of the players think 'it is only Fulham'.
The winning mentality Ole speaks about has to apply equally to the lesser as well as the top teams.

    DDG

    AWB Bailly Maguire Shaw

    Pogba Matic

    DVB

    Greenwood Cavani Martial
Rest Bruno before his legs fall off completely (believe me, it happens) and give Rasfhord a much-needed break too. Both can make an appearance later in the game if need be.

DVB is crying out for a chance to shine and tonight is as good a time as any.

It's a tough game. They've played well in the last couple of games and haven't won any of them (they did took a point against Liverpoool). I hope tonight won't be the game when they will compensate for all that
I would only rest Martial, but for obvious reasons, not because he is tired

Fulham are playing well lately. Dangerous game.

Should be an open game, though. Fulham don't tend to sit behind the ball and frustrate their opponents. They try and play football which, in theory, should play into our hands.

Let's just play our best team, no tactical curveballs for this one. I'd like to see Pogba in midfield, a front 3 of Rashford, Martial or Cavani, and Greenwood. Bruno behind them, and Fred or Matic beside Pogba.

Back 4 picks itself really, I wouldn't look to change too much here. I know it's Liverpool in the FA Cup, but we should rotate a little for that one instead. Main priority should be reclaiming top spot again ans keeping daylight between us and the chasing pack.

Does it really? I think Bailly has muddied the waters somewhat after his solid run and it's now less clearcut.

Initially they didn't, but game by game you can see Parker has been working on that and it's shown in their results, conceding 4 goals in their last six games, which involved playing the likes of Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea, and Soton.

I hope Martials in. Rashford can be subbed on. He needs a reality check and a kick in the nuts. Hopefully he can come on and be unplayable like that one time.

Marcus Rashford can equal Wayne Rooney record tonight
Marcus Rashford has scored in his last two Premier League appearances in London, scoring as many goals in those two games as in his first 19 games in the capital (2). The last United player to score in three consecutive league games in London was Wayne Rooney in November 2014.

    Just Please no Rashford...Please.

To get the best out of him he needs to feel he is not automatic starter because recently he is the worst selfish player who does not know offside rule. Martial playing not at his best is still 3 times the player Rashford is currently.
This is just pure tripe mate.
I don’t agree with that at all.
Same here. Mason has been far from atrocious, not even taking into account the stuff he’s faced off-the-field this season.

    Rumoured team.

    United line-up vs Fulham leaked
A team has emerged before kick-off. The unconfirmed line-up is:
De Gea, Wan Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, Pogba, Fernandes, Martial, Cavani, Greenwood.
As stated, that is unconfirmed but that’s the team that is doing the rounds.
De Gea and Wan-Bissaka are definite starters, though.

Yeah, they have been much better defensively to be fair. But they also like to play a bit, too. I think it could be a good game actually. They play some nice stuff at times, and there should be space for United to exploit.

Famous last words, I know. Fully expecting 0-0 now.

lovely. Rashford needs a rest and martial needs another chance or 2 before he’s finally dropped for hopefully a fresher Rashford and a more aggressive Cavani

Leaked starting lineup just popped up on MEN:

De Gea, Wan Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, Pogba, Fernandes, Martial, Cavani, Greenwood
