I have to add that this is a good win, well done shaw again, cavani class, pogba did well, those 3 carried the teamFecking hell, if I had my heart monitor on, it would have caught fire in the last 5 mins. Lads you need to see games out better. But pogba's goal has to be goal of the season so far.Good win but theres no way you can win the league playing like that. We were in a position to kick on after scoring the second and could have done so if rashford had come on but ole had to wait until we completely list momentum to make any change. Someone like vdb or mata could have helped calm things down but they are never usedBig win but we look like a Championship team at times.
They drew away to Tottenham, only got beat 1-0 by Chelsea because of a red card. They’re no mugs lately.
This outdated mentality is why the club will be going nowhere in the immediate future. There is no better form of defense than actually keeping the ball. If one of your best players on the ball cant play it reflects more badly on the club/manager than anything tbh

It's not about goals for me, it's about putting in a shift. Every time Cavani was pressing and hassling and making his presence known to the defenders. Greenwood was largely anonymous. When you team is playing average, doesn't mean you can't still put in a shift to stand out. Point for me is, he didn't, he was missing. Sure he's a young lad and he will have these moments, I know that, so I say it not in me hammering him, but more disappointed that he didn't do much.

Exactly, too many of our games end up like basketball games because we cant keep the ball. He could give us some composure and enable us to take the sting out of gsmes at the end
Rio is just talking about what I just said about being a nuisance as a forward. These young guys can learn from Cavani. Hopefully he will take his next chance though, we all know what he can be.

I thought Shaw, Pogba and Cavani were our best players today, Bruno also much better than against Liverpool. Fred very sprightly - a real terrier. Wan-Bissaka with some bad stuff early on, but much improved in the second half and also more involved offensively than usual.
AWB isn’t dreadful going forward. He’s not great either but he can actually cross and he can link up with forwards/midfielders well enough. He’s even got the stats to back it.
His major issue is being thick on the pitch. Shaw sorted that so hopefully AWB can too
