Fergie teams almost never pressed, and we still did okay. Almost always dropped into two banks of 4 and invited teams to come on to us, and threaten on the break.

Wot? There's a difference between the gegenpress and no pressing. Barring the odd game we always pressed under SAF. Not the systematic Barca press but we always chased the ball. We rarely sat off teams. It's been a regular feature this season. We did against Southampton at home.
