    I see two major problems: Rojo can't provide on any service on the wings, which leaves us with not enough support on that side and we are not able to control the midfield. Pogba in particular has been poor.
     
    Hope they get a roasting from the manager. The lack of agression and the carefree attitude combined with awful technical ability and a fair few completely baffling monents is such a throwback to last season.

    Maybe Fergie was right about Pogba. He doesn't get it wrong very often.
     
    Darmian hasn't been poor. He's just become one of those players that are easy to criticize here. He had a shit season after his great start last year but he's been fine today so far.
    Rojo however has no knowledge of how to play a mid-range pass.

    It's like our club kills any instinct the players. It either a pointless pass or a lazy flick. I have no doubt Jose will create a solid starting eleven but you can be sure Mata, Hererra, Smalling and a few others will not be part of it.
     
    We don´t really have a plan going forward. In the PL we had Shaw and especially Valencia bombing forward all game to create havoc, but with Rojo and Darmian we even lost that.

    Herrera, De Gea and both centre-backs were decent, everyone else below par.

    Yeah. Should be doing better than they are though. Zlatan will save the day.
     
    Mata needs to stay a bit wide instead of drifting inside we already have players there.
     
    Rojo not really offering any support for Martial or at all going forward. Would like to see both Herrera and Pogba given license to go forward and penetrate.
     
    More or less what was expected. Players still not sharp or some
    Playing their first match of the season. Nobody was expecting champagne football. The encouraging thing is we are very organized and have shown pace in attack on occasion. Just need to work on our counter attack and getting more chances in the last third.

    Good to see Smalling and schneiderlin back in the team. Still think Morgan is a great partner for pogba in the long run.

    He has a better than world class team at Real, but I wonder of he can make usba decent footballing side, we've looked substandard so far. But he's just been here 5 games atmittedly, still you'd expect a little bit of improvement, especially with the additions.
     
    One of the things missing with LvG was a good half-time hairdryer to get thinks going... hopefully Mou's got a turbo powered one
     
    The problem is there is no balance, 4-3-3 needs a lot of goal threat from the wide forwards. Mata does not provide that well enough as he doesn't have the pace to get forward after defending. This is making Rashford very isolated. Either need to switch to a 4-2-3-1 by taking off sticking herrera in the #10 position, or switch mata with memphis, martial up top and rashford right. or memphis on for schneiderling/herrera/pogba and go 4-2-3-1 with mata at #10.

    the players and the system at the moment do not complement each other.

    They were much better than us. Just fecked about losing too many and our 0-0's added up meaning we were level with them
     
    We could make a CL run in about four-five years if we do everything right from now on.
     
    We have become so passive over the last few years. Very annoying to watch to watch, lots of work to do for Jose
     
    Unlike LVG who from the start i was saying was the wrong manager, I have faith in Mourinho, but the team still feels like they have the LVG fear of attacking, and being utterly uncreative

    I dont get why all the other PL teams in the CL, mostly won their matches by a big margin, yet we always seem to struggle against even the shit teams in Europe even in SAF last years, im wondering is it because most of our players are sub-par?

    He has wasted a faiar few good openings with mind bogglingly shite passing, whether it be the wrong one or inexplicably leathering it into feet. The one time he kept his head he created the chance for Martial.
     
    What a half. Rojo has been immense. We should be up by 5. Maybe. I don't know. I was paying more attention to The Simpsons. The one where Krusty fakes his own death. Great episode.

    I kept thinking Feyenoord had scored judging by the roars, but they just seemed to be cheering when they got a corner.

    We're standing right off them and it's clearly tactical. I'm not a fan.

    Rojo and Darmian need to sort their first touch out, quick. It's bouncing up every bloody time.

    Except Pogba was superb for Juventus and is considered one of the world's best by most coaches. He needs fast one touch players around him. Get him closer to Martial and Rashford and you'll see.
     
    Pretty poor all round. Rashford is too isolated, Mata is being Mata and doing the square route of feck all and Martial has been wasteful. Pogba has been shite as well.
