    Team was released, not the formation. Paddock don’t now sheet.
    I’d say we’re going with a back 3 and wingbacks. Then we can narrow our attack, utilising Rashford and Garnacho effectively.
     
    Away in Turkey seems a good place to try out a new formation. Already clocked up a load of UEFA Cup points so far so nothing to worry about.
     
    From the line up, I would have expected a back three or Licha at the double pivot with Ugarte or even Mazraoui paired with Ugarte before I imagined him as the 10
     
    I'd have thought a 3-4-3 was the most obvious formation for that line-up, but whatever.
     
    3 CBs.. 2 wing backs so thus looks like Zirkzee up top on his own?
    5 -4 -1 out of possession by looks. Let's see

    I’m so over this bald cnut at this point. The ONLY thing I look forward to in matches right now is the continuing developing of our young players, and he just leaves one out to pasture whenever he gets the chance. Pretty sure the only reason Amad got good minutes to start this season is just because of Garnacho playing at Copa and needing some rest after.

    UEFA and Erik ten Hag. I'll let you know if anyone else says so, but pretty much just those guys at the moment.
     
    Interesting, I never considered us going to 5 at the back. I will be curious to see how that one goes and who plays where. De Ligt central with Lindelof in the right of the three?

    I didn't realize Evans has an issue (presumably?) so that's not ideal from a depth perspective.

    I'm a bit surprised he didn't rotate Amad in, he dwarves more chances even if the other two played well the other day. It didn't stop him rotating in Zirkzee for Hojlund.

    Wait Wtf. I just saw the quotes on Mazraoui. That surely can't be true. :lol:
     
    Ah, so Erik's gone mental again. Fair enough.

    Hopefully it's good mental like playing Amrabat over Casemiro at DM in the cup final, rather than bad mental like putting Weghorst at 10 and shunting Bruno out to the wing...
