    Don't underestimate the role Fellaini had in that goal. You can pooh-pooh his lack of technical skill, but there are very few footballers who could do what he did. He was the reason that move broke through Rostov's lines.
     
    So far so good. Rostov is pretty shit, though we've been solid and have the goal, can easily get another one in the second half to make the home leg a formality.
     
    Is this formation like rehearsal for Chelsea game? Looks defensively solid.

    All things considered that was a good half for us.
     
    Doing well so far considering the circumstances. Much less threat than I expected
     
    I get pretty pissed off with people (especially our own fans) bagging Pogba but he's been very poor tonight.
     
    The referee could switch every decision in this match and his performance won't have changed. Giving 50/50s constantly.
     
    Another goal please in the 2nd half plus clean sheet and I'll be very happy.

    That's his best position, it's when he's defensive mid he's a waste of space.

    A really atrocious match through no fault of our side. We've basically done all we can thus far. Long balls, using our height and got ourselves the all-important goal. I'm certain we will go through now, Rostov don't even look capable of posing an attacking threat.

    Good tactical versatility shown by Mourinho in unique circumstances. We can't take that for granted. Managers like Klopp and Wenger don't have that in them.
     
    We've negotiated this very smartly so far.

    Should be good if we win this. Important away goal.
     
    Great to be ahead, team have done well in difficult playing conditions. Would be excellent to get the hell out of here with a lead in the tie and no injuries. They don't look up to much going forward.

    I honestly thought they'd be hard bastards before the game. It's the opposite.
     
    One more goal in second half and that is us in the quarter finals. Looks like we will see bailly, shaw carrick, rooney all against chelsea. Maybe Martial,mata and rashford too.
    Europa is our best chance to get in champions league and i think it has shown even against rostov.
    Mkhitaryan is amazing, he gives us so much more.
