Which game is Jose taking more serious? This one or Chelsea one? My line up depends on that answer. I have no idea what team to put, it's driving me crazy.

I think he'll take both equally seriously (he did say when the draw was made he'll play strong team vs Chelsea). Lineup for this might be slightly weaker though with him not wanting to risk injuring some players (watch him start Valencia now)

He was beaten by his old side by 4 goals to none. Out-played in the process and humilated by the reaction of the fans.

For sure he values winning EL higher than the FA Cup. But IMHO he wants revange on Monday and will allocate resources to get what he wants.

Yeah that's a fair point.

I think he is more about the big picture than petty revenge to be honest but I can see what you are saying perfectly and you may well be right.

I'm pretty sure Jose thinks this game is more important than the Chelsea game, even if it's easier. Europa League is a potential route to the Champions League, the FA CUP isn't.

Not sure about which he takes more seriously, but this is half a game in effect, being a two legged affair, so I think he will see tonight as a damage limitation exercise and play for a draw. The Chelsea game is a completely different situation and yes, I think he will have half an eye on that - for example by NOT playing Miki.

But thanks for replays, will have to submit my line up soon, so I will go with half good half bad, think he might play Felli, (oh dear Lord) and Darmian instead of Valencia, (God help us), and some more changes, because, like Adebisi said, it it 2 games, and pretty sure if the pitch was better he would play best team, but he might have Monday on his mind and any injury.. I think he wants to do good at SB, you know, ex team,and Conte celebrations, that is why I am so confused.
But score draw and no injuries, and I'm a happy.

Don't think Mourinho will care much about FA Cup at this point. We, and he, need CL and FA Cup can't provide that. It's only his personal pride that will makes him more determined than usually is.

Agree with the general sentiment on here. Not a match I'm particularly looking forward to and it feels success would be a reasonable result and no injuries. I'd be more than happy to see us play ugly if necessary and come away with any kind of draw.

Make no mistake about it, Jose will field his strongest possible 11. Winning the EL is a way into the CL.

The FA Cup is the least important trophy as things stand.

The state of that pitch is a disgrace. It is not a football pitch, more like a potato field. How on earth this game is even happening is a mystery. UEFA should expel them from the competition and award a win to United by default. If we end up with injuries, this will all be on UEFA.
