I think he's going for the draw here, he's playing Smalling, Jones and Rojo at CB with Blind and Young as wing-backs, and then a 3-man midfield of Herrera, Fellaini and Pogba and then Mkhitaryan behind Ibrahimovic.Had Rashford instead of Jones. 3 at the back could be interesting.Why is Mkhitaryan in the lineup, especially with the pitch in such bad condition? TBH, that kind of highlights our real problem: lack of depth in midfield. If one of Pogba, Herrera or Carrick isn't playing, you can be sure that our midfield won't function as well as it ought to.

I'm just going off on the basis of how the United Twitter feed assembled the names, so can take my guess with a pinch of salt. I actually think Blind at LCB could be a genius move. With no Carrick in the team, Blind will have the license to play those forward passes and he will bring much needed composure to that back line along side Jones and Smalling who can be headless on occasions.3-5-1-1?

He's used to playing on these types of pitches from his time in Shakhtar...If they're as defensive as Jose would have you believe then you'd imagine we will have a lot of the ball. So Blind and Young will spend most of the time out on the wing whipping in cross after cross as Fellaini joins Zlatan in the box; Mkhitaryan and Pogba camped on the edge of the box for creativity through the middle and any spillages.Can only believe it is a 3-5-2 and Mourinho wants us to dominate the midfield.
