    Always knew it would be. Let’s see the character they show. Not worried about the score but more about how they’re playing against physically stronger players

    Everything we've seen this season, especially today, suggests Vanarama North or National League at best.
     
    I mean, I'm as Ole out as anyone but this isn't a stick to beat him with. He gave the kids a run out in a meaningless game, we will still top the group so this result doesn't matter and we've kept our first teamers fit for the weekend.

    Don't see the point in losing your shit over this.

    I'm concerned about your grasp on reality.

    We are playing the kids, many of whom won't make it at United, to give them experience and keep the first team fresh as we are already qualified.

    The result does not matter.
     
    We just can't create tempo when we need to. None of these players should have been brainwashed washed by LVG either.

    I'm not sure about that, of course we can't rely on them, however this is the most passive I have seen this group play. Don't think Garner has played one pass over 10 yards. Its unusual and must be by instruction
     
    Too much passing the ball backwards and forwards across the face of their defence and not enough penetration or risk-taking. The first instinct seems to be to pass the ball sideways or backwards.
     
    Also, Shaw needs to remember his actual role. That's 3 times this half hes just given up defending his area.

    That’s pretty telling to me. As these players have played completely differently to some of these descriptions in the EFL cup.
