We haven't looked up for it in this game. The workrate and tenacity has not been there today. Not once have I seen a player go into a tackle to make a statement or at least give the away fans something to cheer about. It's all very timid and tame.

These players will suddenly look great whenever they're playing somewhere else because they're not bad players, despite the narrative people on here are trying to weave. Our worst players leave and consistently do well elsewhere. Yes, I believe there are managers that could get this team competing for 5th/4th with the right setup.

I agree with you that we should have brought in more reinforcements in January but at the same time I don't really believe it would have improved anything. Bad news for you, because it's going to be rinse and repeat next year anyway, whether Amorim lasts that long or not. As long as the Glazers and/or INEOS are making decisions nothing will improve.
