We have no intensity and I suspect our fitness is actually pretty shite.

Watching the Everton players sprint around closing us down is night and day to our midfield approach of ‘stand in some space’.

If we win this, it’s actually upsetting to think these guys will then think playing like this is acceptable.

Rashford has to stop running down blind alleys. Give and go. Come on! Garnacho what can you say! Magnificent. Mainoo has been having some debut. Great job!

Wish we could take Bruno, Rashford and Mctominay off. No team can play cohesive football with these three enemies of possession. Especially the first two - our two most big name and more careless players. Sometimes I actually we should cut ties with such players who are so averse to playing decent possession play

I'd get Wan Bissaka on at right back, push Dalot up and take Marcus off. He's having a mare.

Rashford is crap wherever he plays. Do we not have an academy player who can play on the right?
I'm beginning to think that there's some correlation between Rashy's performances and his relationship status. I'm pretty certain that he was banging them in when he was with his missus but whenever there's been any domestics he's been moping around the pitch and just not at it.

    I could be wrong?

We scored an unbelievable goal and then followed it up with an absolutely terrible performance the rest of the half. We really don’t help ourselves constantly going backwards and inviting on the pressure. Instead of building on that early lead and silencing the stadium we’ve got them up for this again by fecking about and now they’re right back in this.

    This season summed up.

Would be down in 15/16 if the performances were rewarded with what they deserved.

Or in the top 4 with some more fortune from the refs.
We would be at top if VAR and refs didn't do what they did against Arsenal, Tottenham, ManCIty and Crystal Palace.

Mainoo‘s been pretty good and Garnacho has probably scored the goal of the season. Other than that nothing much to shout about.

Need to replace so many players it’s crazy. 3 of the back 4 should be gone. Rashford and Bruno haven’t turned up all season.

Moments FC and to be honest it was a hell of a moment.

Saying that ETH is a fraud. Our passing and passing out from the back is no better than it was under Ole. Mainoo has come in and looks the best player on the ball but we know the drill in a few weeks he’ll look like the rest.

    Positives:
    Mainoo
    Garnacho
    Maguire
    Onana

    Negatives:
Pretty much everything and everyone else.

    Worse than negative:
    Rashford
    Bruno

DCL will score if this continues, he's getting too many chances especially aerially.

We have been atrocious outside of the first 5 minutes. Getting dominated by fecking Everton, they're playing rings around us. Most of the players should be embarassed, even more so because the 18 year old debutante is showing more than they are

If the same 11 start the half we'll concede in 45-55 minutes and then see a first (baffling choice of) sub at 70. Standard ETH game management shite.

People are often begging for Pellistri, but he’s not exactly pulling up trees either when he starts.
I've come to the point where playing a formation without wingers is a genuine thing I'd like to explore, exactly because Rashford is as piss poor as he is... so no, Pellistri isn't Robben, but these days merely being a winger that fancies an occasional run is enough to outperform Rashford, and Pellistri is at least that.

Sideways, backwards, sideways, backwards, big diagonal. Non-league tactics.

Be nice if we could try maybe passing the ball through midfield in triangles and progress the ball up the pitch. You know 'progressive football' that ETH was meant to bring.

Garnacho's wonder goal aside that was absolutely dreadful.

Fantastic goal. Mainoo good and the defence are decent, but the midfield and attck poor once again. What style is it? Cant even say its counter attack. Rash at least needs to be subbed. Martial if we had another attacker.

Bruno and Rashford stand out as reasons this team can't hold on to the ball. Both dreadful.

Rashford has been poor, as is his form lately, but people saying it’s like playing with ten are talking crap. He’s tracked back plenty. His attacking game is just miles off where it was last year. That’s a confidence thing.

Good opening 15-20 minutes. Insane goal early. Horrendous 2nd part of the half. Can't string 3 passes together, just going long, Lindelof being terrorized, whole team bar Shaw, Dalot and Mainoo just giving it away relentlessly.

Mainoo has been quality. Need to get the ball into the midfield more and stop obsessing with deep build up. Just get it to Mainoo and get it into advanced positions playing normally. The plan to bypass their press through our first line has not worked in the slightest and is just getting us in trouble.

Agreed with this, basically no options available to anyone in front and gets recycled to Onana who gives it back, it’s awful.

It seems so easy to press us, yet there is always an out ball for our press to each full back every time.

An all time great United goal from Garnacho followed by more of the same.

Mainoo is the only player on the pitch in red with any composure. Just pleased Everton are shit and we got to half time.
