Shaw is having (or has already had) an operation to remove some metal bolts from his leg.
They were put in when he had his double leg fracture, a few seasons ago.
He’s out for a few weeks.
I’m not sure if he’ll be back in starting contention before the end of the season?

Please win... We really shouldn't have a chance of top four but I think the fixtures of Spurs and Arsenal are just as much of a banana skin as this one is for us.

Spurs and Arsenal also have to play each other yet, while we get our chance to beat Arsenal. The latter also play Chelsea and West Ham away.

This isn't as 'over' as I thought it was, but we need 6 wins minimum with one of them having to be against Arsenal. I'm just not confident we can suddenly find the consistency to win 6/8.

Tbf if their whole team were fighting for their lives they wouldn't be a point above the relegation zone. Everton fans complain about much the same things we do when it comes to having an incompetent board and players not giving a shit.
