    Why's this a 3pm kickoff? It's a big game!

Anyone know any pubs in Manchester that'll be showing it? I think I read somewhere that the courtyard shows United 3pm's?
Not that much of a big game is it?

Why has Blind suddenly been emitted from everyones starting lineups? Have I missed something.

I thought he has performed great so far this season.
Palace play with real pace and physicality. The game suits Jones far more. I've also been more impressed by Jones defensively than Blind. Although his ability on the ball would be an asset in most home matches where the opponent seek to sit as deep as they can to absorb our possession.

Hope Young is fit enough to start after playing in midweek.

Will be interesting to see how he fits Rooney and Martial into the XI.

#10 for Rooney? or Left wing for Martial again?

    De Gea
    Darmian--Smalling--Jones--Rojo
    Schneiderlin--Schweinsteiger
    Mata--Herrera--Young
    Martial

subs: Romero, Blind, Carrick, Fellaini, Lingard, Pereira, Rooney.

    --------------------------De Gea------------------------
    Darmian--------Smalling-------Jones------------Rojo
    -------------Schneiderlin------Schweinsteiger---------
    Mata--------------------Herrera----------------Young
    --------------------------Martial--------------------------

Ill be shocked if i dont see this line-up. If i see Rooney up front and Martial put on the wing again then LVGs ego is beyond ridiculous or he so blinded of how poor Rooney is. He does not deserve to start for his continuous poor performances.

Rooney was on the bench against Boro. He is the captain and fit... and rested.

    I expect him to start.

So do we improve on our majestic 4 goals in 5 games?

I think it will be a 1-1 draw and unfortunately Wayne will start.

A lot of the ball as usual with hardly any cutting edge. Palace will look like scoring after 3 or 4 passes where we will hit 29 before it goes back to De Gea.

    -------De Gea
    Darmian Jones Smalling Rojo
    ----Schneiderlin BFS
    --Mata Herrera Martial
    --------Pooney

Maybe it will be an Everton type game but I just don't see it.

    Very tough place to go.

Really hope we drop Rooney and bring in Young. Never thought I'd ever say that.

    Please this

    ------------------- DDG
    Darmian - Smalling - Jones - Rojo
    ------- ----- BFS - Morgan
    -------- Mata ----- Herrera ------ Young
    ------------------ Martial

Yep....exactly what I would go with.

Well we seem to have a bit more consistency than immediately noticeable right now. Whenever we are all in true despair after a couple of shocking games, the team comes back and belts whoever they're playing to give us all a little hope before going back to the boring game again.

That said I'm not convinced this will be that game. I'm guessing 1-0 win, though I've not really decided on a reason for it yet.

    De Gea
    Darmian Smalling Jones Blind
    Schneiderlin
    Herrera Schweiny
    Mata Martial Pereira

But of course Rooney will start.

Rojo deserves to start but we need Blind's attacking more than his defense here.

Smalling, Darmian and Bling played 120min on Wednesday, I can see one of them being rested for Rojo

I think Jones is a far better defender than Blind, but Blind is a far better footballer than Jones, if that makes sense.

Away from home, I'd rather start Jones though.

Meh. I actually don't think the margin between their defensive ability is as large as some people think. Jones manages to make up for his errors and bad positioning with pace and power...Blind makes far fewer errors.

Not that big of a deal anyway, our defensive is pretty solid at the moment. It's our frontline that is the problem.

    ---------------------De Gea---------------------
    Darmian------- Smalling------- Jones------ Rojo
    --------Schneiderlin------Schweinstegier--------
    Mata---------------Herrera----------------Young
    ---------------------Martial------------------------

Tomorrow's the day Rooney will be warming the bench!

Rested for Rojo? Rojo is first choice at LB now. Do keep up.

This is what we need to see happen in order to actually come away with the win but unfortunately I don't think it would surprise anyone to see Rooney where Martial is and him replacing Young on the wing. Van Gaal is a stubborn one.

Feck! I thought this was a home game, was pretty confident of 3 easy points.

Now that I know its away :nervous:

Looking at the stats, form and previous meeting record, I'd say MUFC should win this.
    Crystal Palace 0 - 1 MUFC

I dont really go into games thinking we will get anything other than a win to be honest, we should be able to grab the 3 points here.

Herrera dropped for Rooney who'll be back as a 10, unfortunately.

    De Gea
    Valencia/Darmien - Smalling - Jones - Rojo
    Schneiderlin - Schweinstiger
    Mata - Herrera - Lingard
    Martial

Our best team on form. Lingard hits the post 2 games in a row, that's probably just enough to beat out a returning Young and Memphis. Rest, no real arguments. Valencia has outplayed Darmian as of late, though long-term I certainly expect Darmian to settle down and win that competition.
