I get the rationale behind starting Scotty, but when teams aren’t just letting Bruno and Pogba pin them back you need a bit more help from that spot.

The fullbacks could do better helping us get forward as well.

Not been great, too lethargic to start as per and De Gea has made some good saves.

Great finish by Rashford for the goal though. As long as we win I’m not bothered.

kinda lucky for the goal in that we don't really deserve it as we havnt played great but we are growing into the game and had some chance with greenwood.

I worry were to top heavy and greenwood particular is not good tracking back, fernandes is barely getting the ball, might need to come deeper. Martial really is on top form looks excellent and his desire is evident.

I dunno, our buildup play was brilliant at times in that half, it was just the final ball letting us down - TFM or AWB often being the guilty party.

I think there are more goals in us tonight. I wouldn't be surprised if we end the game 4-0 winners.

Shocking for 35 minutes lethargic, We started playing last 10 minutes of the half.. that looked a clear pen on Zaha so we got lucky. Class goal from Rashford switching feet With 3 defenders around him. That’s the composure he so often lacks. Greenwood not in it. TFM poor going forward compared to shaw and Brandon, look scared of making a mistake.

TFM has been ok - but it does highlight how important Shaw has become for us. He's like a FB and a second winger with his energy, touch and willingness to overlap. TFM is being sensible and playing within himself which is understandable.

What's going on with Mason though? Seriously odd performance. As much as I hate to say it, maybe bring on Mata?

Too many players looking leggy, and some very jittery moments.

Still, created some decent chances in all that shite.

Greenwood struggling a bit...as said earlier will take any fecking win here.

Fairly decent end to the half after a poor start.

It is worrying that we're starting games so sluggishly. But we have created a few decent chances, Greenwood surprisingly ruined two of them unfortunately. Martial's been pretty good and Rashford and Bruno went up a level in the last 15-20 minutes

It’s not one player or the other. Every player in the first half touched the ball and stood still for a second or two, almost every single time. Even if they are tired they have to move the ball quicker and we will score a couple. We have to.

Everything for Palace runs through Zaha, pretty much. TFM hasn't had much to do defensively (he's given the ball away a few times near our box) but he's been absolutely abysmal going forward. The direction of forward doesn't seem to be something he's aware exists.
