I think it’ll be because of two things, Townsend being left footed and likes to drive inside so Young going inside on his right to cover him with his preferred tackling foot.

Also Young gives me the impression he doesn’t care who you are so if your Sanchez or Zlatan you’ll still get an earful and told what to do where as Shaw probably doesn’t feel like he has the experience or presence to do such things ala, against Newcastle.
