    If your a manager and you play Andreas Mata and Lingard together and legitimately think it might work against any half way decent opposition then I'm sorry but that is just deluded.

    They weren’t, they don’t offer enough and shouldn’t be playing for us.
    Hopefully they can make something happen tonight but in the summer they should both be sold.

    And the alternative is overplaying Bruno and Fred.

    I'd rather us actually prioritise the league.

    Christ...they literally just linked up to force Mingolet's save two phases of play before the goal. And Brugge had been defending with 5 to 6 players at the back. They aren't world beaters, but that's what United have and they didn't do anything wrong before the goal.
     
    Dalot not wanting to be outdone by the fellow deadwoods around him.
     
    The sheer drop in standard when the likes of Mata, Lingard and Periera start is incredible.

    We're lucky it's only 1-0, they could eaily be up by 3 or 4. They look threatening every time they attack.
     
    It doesn't help that when Dalot gets done, which is a lot, we have our 2nd worst defender covering him down the same flank. Never put Lindelof and Dalot out there together - especially down the same side.
